As the days are getting longer and we’re finally enjoying some gorgeous spring sunshine, we’re getting excited for summer and all it brings. Lazy sunny days, picnics, ice cream (lots of it!) and most importantly, all the fabulous new clothes and accessories we can buy to update our wardrobes! Move over winter coats and knitwear, it’s time to lighten up with some fresh new colours and designs for the season. Our new Summer Fashion collection has just launched and here are a few pieces to keep an eye out for…

To the max

Maxi dresses are a summer wardrobe staple in our book. You just can’t got wrong with a gorgeous, full-length dress, whether you prefer bold, striking prints or plain and simple designs. This sleeveless, block colour design from Nina Leonard is so versatile. It has a stylish hi-lo hemline which gives it an interesting twist, and you can dress it up with heels or just as easily go casual by wearing it with flat sandals or trainers. Anything goes! But if you’re after a more eye-catching look, then this printed maxi from Kim & Co is perfect. It comes in a flattering jersey fabric that’s so soft and comfortable to wear.

Flower power

Keep cool while still looking effortlessly stylish in this pretty Denim & Co. top. The floral print is so sweet and feminine and it will look great with jeans or cropped Capri trousers. We just love this gorgeous stretch denim dress, also from Denim & Co. It has a loose, flattering shape so you’ll keep cool on hot days, and the gorgeous floral print looks fab against the denim base.

Special occasion?
We just love this wrap-front midi dress from Nina Leonard. It’s so smart and elegant, and the gorgeous fabric makes it drape beautifully and give you a flattering look. Team it with heels and gold or silver jewellery for a special evening occasion. This beautiful lace dress from Ronni Nicole is a must-have too. The sleeveless design and lace fabric will keep you cool on hot days – it’s a great choice for a wedding or summer party, teamed with nude heels or wedges.
Lazy sunny days
Stripes are a classic that will never go out of style and we can’t avoid them in fashion right now. Whether it’s a simple Breton striped tee or this gorgeous stretch jersey dress, stripes are a wardrobe staple. This Ronni Nicole dress comes in soft, jersey fabric and has gorgeous bell sleeves dotted with tiny faux pearls for added interest.
We’re big fans of this pretty, easy-to-wear vest top from Joules. It’s so versatile for summer and will look just as good with denim shorts and flip-flops on the beach as it will tucked into a pretty block colour skirt and wedges. It’s made from super soft cotton and you’ll wear this year after year too.
The essentials
Your summer wardrobe should include a few key pieces to mix and match with. Versatile designs that you can wear with almost anything, and these cropped crepe trousers from Nina Leonard are just great. They’re cool, flattering and easy to wear with smarter tops or casual ones. Try them with a printed blouse and wedges for a summer garden party, or a plain vest top with a sun hat and flip flops for casual, sunny days.
We just love this Ben de Lisi button through shirt (and his whole collection actually!). It’s made from soft, flowing fabric and features batwing sleeves with a curved hemline. It’s just so stylish and will look great worn loose over skinny jeans or trousers on cooler summer days.
