Your beauty questions answered from last week’s Beauty Fix

If you missed my Beauty Fix chat with Will last week, here is a selection of some of the questions that you asked on Facebook…

Alpha-H Eye SerumOn milia spots

Q.  Hi Alison, I have a milia spot on my eyelid. What could I use to get rid of it? I'm oily combination skin and my skin textures gone abit bumpy. I'm 44 by the way.

A. On the eye you need Alpha-H Eye Serum for the facial area and you need more hydration as these are dehydration bumps and roughness that you're describing. I'd use the combination Cleanser & Toner from Decleor followed by Neroli and Hydrafloral and you should see a very quick improvement. In fact Will has just found this collection for you which would be the most economical way of testing the collection Ali x

Judith Williams PhytomineralOn the best lighweight moisturiser for under 30

Q. I would like to know what moisturiser is best for under 30s with quite oily skin. I have tried a Gatineau but find it a little too heavy for me.

Judith Williams Phytomineral or have you tried the Aquamemory from Gatienau? It's lighter in texture than the others. Also Decleor Hydrafloral would be good for you. Ali x

Alpha-H Liquid GoldOn hyperpigmentation

Q. Hi Alison hope you can help, what works well for hyperpigmentation?

A. The Alpha-H range should be the first port of call, look at the Liquid Gold and the serums, they can help to control and lessen pigmentation. Sunscreen is a must daily! Ali x

hi i have combination skin and no moisturiser i use seems to help with my oiliness. i did use no 7 sorbet day cream which kept the shine at bay all day, boots have now discontinued this range. im 33 and do also need an spf but would using a sunscreen affect other moisturisers and my oiliness?

I wrote to Alpha H in Oz to ask if they could remove parabens from their Absolute Eye Complex. They replied as from early 2013 it will be free from parabens.
Just in case anyone else is like me and throws away anything with parabens in it. Broke my heart to ditch it as Alph H products have turned my skin around.
