Would you like to join me for lunch?

As always – I hope this finds you as well as you can be.

Well the weather really can’t make it’s mind up at the moment can it?!? Today (Tuesday) at home we experienced gales, intense bursts of sunshine, rain, blue skies and heavy cloud all in a single hour – I kid you not.

So the old Scout motto of “Be prepared” is very apt with UK weather – have your Centigrade raincoats, Kim & Co vests and Ultrasun to hand at all times ?

‘The Lunchtime Show’

As I mentioned last week I’ve been presenting much earlier than usual (Sunday’s fabulous Whetman Pinks TSV apart). It’s a nice change for me as I have spent a larger part of my 18 odd years here at The Q working the later shifts. I am delighted to be a part of the team of presenters currently presenting ‘The Lunchtime Show’ and I hope you were able to catch or record at least one or hopefully all of them last week.

The show has a different structure to it compared to our usual daytime shows and it’s great being able to hear the views of the panel on products other than their own – I believe it gives you our fab customers the opportunity to see them in a different light away from their normal presentations.

I would love to hear from you in the comments section below any thoughts or observations you may have. Generally speaking I’ve heard mostly very encouraging reports but if there’s an aspect that you don’t like – please also feel free to say so and I’ll make sure we do it even more ! ;)) Seriously, have you say as indeed the whole nation will this Thursday!

I just can’t call it! A coalition looks likely but between who? We’ll all know by my next blog anyway.

I’ve continued to enjoy my new DSLR camera and I managed to get a great shot of this stunning kestrel as it started to swoop down looking for lunch – it was a long way off and despite cropping (zooming) in a huge amount I managed to still capture some of it’s beauty – my aim is to get a much clearer shot in the near future but time, patience, determination and luck are usually involved – so we’ll have to see.

So Wednesday I have the Lunchtime Show with Chloe and then again on Thursday with Jackie. Candle fans might have noticed that I’ll be presenting the stylish Sandy Bay London candles this Wednesday (5th May) at 2pm and then the wonderfully colourful fragrant “Yankee Candles” TSV during both the Lunchtime Show and again at 3pm on Thursday. Friday, I’m working “off-air” with some new potential new Guest Presenters – so I’ll see you after that on Monday the 11th May for ‘The Lunchtime Show’ again with Chloe. Fancy me presenting so many shows with the word “Lunchtime” in it ? :))

Couldn’t resist including this innocently gorgeous pic of Ellie – in actual fact she was eyeing up a rather fat Wood Pigeon on the bird table ! Ha ha!

Till next time stay safe and don’t let the Election debates get you down!

    Hi Dale
Glad you are enjoying the lunchtime show-I feel its more relaxed and can see the brand presenters enjoy themselves too. Love the pic of Ellie! How are you finding the traffic now you are going in at a different time than before? Keep Happy x

Thanks for leaving a comment Lorraine, Yes I do enjoy presenting the show – it’s a lot different to our usual format and it’s already starting to develop it’s own character and characters ! The traffic isn’t too bad if The Lunchtime Show is my first of the day, as I usually arrive around 10.45 but it can be “challenging” getting into West London for 8 or 9 ! Dale xx

Ok D, you’re on, lunch it is. Don’t worry, I’m a cheap date; fish and chips and a cup of tea – sorted.

Haven’t watched a lot of QVC lately D as I’ve been a busy B, or should that be G, D!

It’s lovely seeing you any time of day Dale.
