Winter walks and looking ahead to summer

I hope your February has got off to a great start. I think for many of us it’s been a really cold one! Much of the UK has struggled with freezing temperatures and lots of snow. I hope you’ve been safe and well where you are. Do stay warm!

We got off fairly lightly here in London. In fact, as I write this blog it’s pouring with rain. I was planning a walk with my Cairns but they really don’t like the rain and will refuse to move if I try to take them out! Having said that, they love a swim. I guess they just like to get wet on their terms! Hopefully it’ll settle a little later on.

We had a light dusting of snow and coupled with the cold and blue skies we’ve had some beautiful scenery to enjoy whilst out walking. I struggled to use my phone – my hands were so cold! I now keep a pair of gloves with me at all times!

Remember, our wonderful Cozee Home range is always to hand to help keep you warm and toasty!

There are great offers to be found at QVC. Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. You can spoil your significant other with beautiful tanzanite, diamond or Diamonique. So many stunning designs to choose from. Then, of course, you can indulge them with Hotel Chocolat! Personally, I think I may struggle to gift that… it would probably end up staying with me!

Fabulous shows to look out for and brilliant Today’s Special Values too of course. Including the Plants2Gardens Summer Bedding Collection With Four Decorative Planters. It’s a superb TSV comprised of 12 summer-long blooming plants in three varieties – Petunia Tumbelina, Nemesia and Verbena Tiara – which will produce an abundance of pretty flowers from May to October, plus four decorative plastic planters in a pretty summery shade. It launches this Saturday 9th February; don’t miss it!

We have specially themed gardening shows throughout the day too including a Plants2Gardens hour with me at 2pm and Container Gardening at 5pm.

I hope you can join us. Happy gardening!

See you soon.

    Hi Charlie

I can relate to your Cairn Terriers not liking going out in the rain – I’m not too keen either! I hope you’re all keeping warm (and dry).
Although I’m not a gardener myself, I enjoy looking out at a beautiful garden and particurly like to look out for visiting wildlife. Hopefully it won’t be long before the pretty colours of the Spring flowers start to appear.
    Wishing you all the best.
    Love Jules x
