What’s hot in beauty for June – part one

June Beauty MonthWelcome to June – and June Beauty Month! We have some great products lined up for you over the next few weeks!

Pure Pedi
Pure Pedi will be greatly received by many of our viewers who remember our liquid foot exfoliating treatment that thousands of viewers bought, called ‘Pediqur’.

Pure Pedi Exfoliating Foot Peel Treatment Boots - 400482This new to QVC ‘pedi’ gives a full-strength, hard skin and callus removal system which is as simple as wearing a sock. You leave the plastic foot sock on for about 45 minutes to an hour.

If you have smaller feet, you can get a better application by either taping the foot or cling filming over it to tighten it, or even putting an old pair of socks over the top.

For best results you want the exfoliating liquid and the side of the boot to adhere – especially to the soles of the feet. This is going to offer a continual exfoliation process over the next two to three weeks.

To remove the skin as it flakes off, it is best to use a foot soak every two or three days. This is best therefore, not used just before you go on holiday or when you want to wear sandals a lot as your skin may continue to peel for as long as a month.

This is a concentrated, effective, hard skin remover and will be especially good for clients that can’t use foot files or electrical exfoliators on a regular basis as this primarily is a one-off treatment that naturally, progressively works over the next month without having to do anything else.

Sarah McNamara Miracle Skin Transformer Face SPF20 - 203656Sarah McNamara
This month Sarah also joins us on QVC with her already successful range of products called ‘Miracle Skin Transformer’.

Her story began after 15 years ago in the beauty industry when she decided to develop her own range, when she saw a consumer need that contradicted her corporate life – where she felt consumers were choosing to buy fewer products that offered more benefits.

This led her to develop and launch her ‘Miracle Skin Transformer SPF 20’, in 2010, which gives instant, visible skin results for skin confidence with the skin benefit of the MST complex for skincare.

This 5-in-1 tinted skin enhancer is designed to hydrate, prime, enhance, mattify and offer an SPF all in one. Yes, it sounds like a BB Cream but the addition of a naturally derived silicone base made from sand gives a more air-brushed blurring, a second skin type finish.

Her skincare range is simple, effective and perfect for someone who wants an uncomplicated routine, especially if you suffer with skin sensitivities or irritations. The must-own will be her ‘Heal Everything Balm’ whether for a topsy-turvy 20 something skin or menopausal irritated skin.

Just as effective on men as women, her range is compact and uncomplicated which will be perfect for a busy customer who wants simplicity but effectiveness. Sarah herself will be the guest so it will be great to hear from the founder and inventor herself, about her story and application techniques.

Origins Planscriptions Serum & Modern Friction - 227149Origins

Origins are back with us in June with some new kits and will also be re-launching some seasonal favourites. This range has a superb global heritage and reputation with an enviable research culture that results in new and dynamic products that answer modern day skin needs.

QVC is great at supplying many special price promotions on this often hard to get range. Watch out for the return of one of my absolute all-time favourites, Modern Friction. This is an effective dermabrasion type product which can give dramatic skin smoothing with immediate, improved skin texture in just one application.

I love the fact that it also comes in a 125ml size which means it will last six months plus. Loved by men just as much as the women, it’s a great age smoothing exfoliator. Watch out for the demonstrations on our Origins shows.

Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream - 229188Another great one through the summer months will be the GinZing Eye Cream. This has a clinically proven, brightening and de-puffing effect, is quick and easy to use and is an absolute rescue remedy for eyes that won’t wake up as quickly as you have to.

We will also be featuring some new launches from the famous ‘Plantscription’ range which has products such as the anti-ageing serum, which combines the most powerful, scientific elements of nature, clinically tests them to prove they have an anti-ageing affect and delivers them in easy to use products that make Origins famous.

Watch out for the new ‘Plantscription Anti-Ageing Cleanser’ containing jasmine, aloe vera and has the unique benefit of a foaming texture. This will be perfect for those searching for an anti-ageing wash off, and is especially quick and easy through the summer or for a morning routine.

Also new will be the ‘Plantscription Anti-Ageing Cream’ which I think offers a great price for stem cell technology and has some of the most dramatic results that they have seen in trials to date. Altogether, I think that Origins offers a unique approach to natural plant technology and if you are looking for age defying naturalness that is potent, proven and effective then you can’t go wrong with this brand.

Look out for more new beauty coming up this month!
