We’re off into 2017!

Phew! That’s it then … another Christmas, another New Year’s Eve and … we’re off into 2017!

Whilst I do find myself looking back over the previous year, I’m also fortunate that I am able to look forward with genuine anticipation rather than dread and try to keep that glass half full attitude for whatever lies ahead.

At The Q that’s definitely the message as on Saturday 7th January, I’ll be with my dear friend and colleague Richard Jackson at 2pm and 5pm. He’s launching his new Today’s Special Value (TSV) – in the form of his improved Premium High Energy Bird Food and in an even larger 14kg bag.

Richard tells me that he has worked with a leading bird food experts in Europe who helped formulate this very special blend.

The good news is that it will also be available on the day as an advanced order which means you can secure that great TSV price again.

I was given a bag over Christmas and although the weather wasn’t great for filming, being both cold and wet, I managed to attract a few species to the feast and film them on and below 2 seed feeders – as I’m sure many of you will know the longer you maintain your Feeding station, the more that nervous birds will trust it and more bird species will find this much-needed food source.

Then staying with the animal theme on Sunday at 1pm, I’ll be presenting a Pampered Pets Hour at 5pm. We have a great array of goodies to offer Pet owners and in particular Toby and Ellie were very interested to try out a new range of Food from Forthglade of Devon!

I’ll be showing some more photos later but they loved every option which included Lamb, Duck and Turkey, complete grain free meals.

Hope you can join me and until next time …

Surprised that Toby and Ellie weren’t drooling !!!!! Forthglade is excellent food.
Our 12 month old golden retriever has been on Forthglade puppy food (I changed her onto it gradually as soon as we collected her at 8 weeks) and now she has the adult variety and she has grown up to be a beautiful dog, my sister’s 6 month old German Shepherd is also on Forthglade puppy and she too is growing up to be a lovely dog. We use the grain free and it looks like pate with vegetables in it, it smells nice to humans opening the film tray, I’ve served up all manner of dog food over the many years, as Calli is our 8th Golden Retriever.

Really looking forward to seeing the new dog food. I have a 13 year old King Charles Cavalier who is recovering from Pancreatitis and has to be on a low fat diet. I’m hoping this new brand will fit the bill.
