Hello! Hope you are well.
I can’t believe how quickly September went! They do say that time goes faster as you get older and I am starting to believe it!
So, how was your September? Mine has on the whole been pretty wonderful. There have been up and downs like any other month, but for me my favourite time of the year hasn’t let me down! There’s been plenty of late summer sunshine, wonderful things going on at work, great time with family and friends, and of course the little matter of my birthday!
Talking of my birthday, I had a wonderful time: I started the day with a wonderful long meditation followed by coffee and pastries on the balcony, then I had a surprise delivery of a wonderful cake from my dear friend Emma. She had ordered it from the Primrose Bakery and believe me when I say it tasted as good as it looked!
Then I headed up to my friend and QVC devotee Joy Salem, who specialises in wonderful non-surgical facelift treatments – great if like me you work weird and wonderful hours and can get quite puffy in the face. Joy gave me a birthday treatment and then we had delicious jacket spuds and salad for lunch.
In the late afternoon some friends came to my place for drinks before we went to see a show on the Southbank of London. All-in-all it was a great day!
Then this last weekend I spent a couple of days with my family in Bristol. We were blessed with glorious weather so it was a mixture of relaxing at my parent’s house, playing with my nieces Jasmine and Ruby and a lovely sunny lunch with my mum and sis. I adore my family so much, we’ve had our trials and tribulations like any other family but as I get older I can really appreciate how blessed we are all to have each other.
So, there it is, a wonderful, loving, nurturing September. And if you didn’t see my poem about Love September, take a look at my first blog of the month as it’s on there.
Would love to know how your September was and also what are your hopes and dreams for October? Drop me a line below, I reply to all comments and I love hearing from you.
Much love and big, big hugs!
