Hope you are well and managing to keep your cool in this hot weather.
I have had a busy couple of weeks, as I’ve been away in Barcelona (more pics in my next blog) and was also back in my home town of Bristol meeting my new niece!
Ava-Rose was born a couple of weeks ago, and both her and my sister are doing well. She is a little beauty and as you can imagine being so young is sleeping all day then wanting to feed through the night. As its my sisters third daughter, she seems to be taking it in her stride.
My parents couldn’t be prouder, and my brother in-law Steve is the proudest new dad you could meet. My other two nieces Jasmine and Ruby are wondering what all the fuss about, haha! Children do keep us down to earth don’t they?!
My sister and brother-in-law had known they were having a little girl and had already decided on either Ava or Ava-Rose as a name, and I really pushed for Ava-Rose as its so pretty and I rather like double-barreled first names, so I was delighted when they chose that.
Here are some photos of the little lady at home, as well as little Ruby out on her scooter during my visit. So proud to be an uncle for the third time!
I am back on air Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd June, so look forward to seeing you then – and if you do need to cool down in this heat, be sure to check out the range of Dyson fans we have at QVC, I wouldn’t be without mine!
Yes, they are expensive, but I’ve had mine for over four years and use it year-round summer and winter, so it really is money well spent.
