Boots Style List

Trend Tracker: Boots

How many pairs of boots do you own? We bet there’s more than a few lurking under the bed, in the wardrobe and beside the front door. There’s so many styles and varieties available, it’s impossible to pick just one favourite!

This is why we’ve broken some of our favourite options down into categories, to highlight some upcoming trends as well as classic styles. As our wonderful footwear buyer Anna says: “The simplest way to be ready for the new season is by upgrading your footwear, and fresh boots in any style are a great way to elevate your wardrobe. Simply pair with a dress for a feminine look, or make them the hero in your day time ensemble with a simple shirt and jeans.”

Sky high

Ideal for a night out, whether its drinks or dinner, these styles range from tough and biker-inspired to sleek and elegant so there’s an option to suit almost any taste. The Clarks Keswick boots on the left above feature a chunky block heel and tough treads on the sole, so they will feel wonderfully comfy to wear as well as looking fierce. Add a pop of colour to an all black ensemble with the Peter Kaiser electric blue boots in the top right-hand corner. We’re also loving the early ’00s vibe from these Clarks Dinah boots. Pair with opaque tights and a midi skirt to bring them bang up to date.

Great lengths

The ankle boot has completely taken over our lives for the past few years, but we’re keen to start rocking knee-high and over-the-knee styles again. Here are just a few options from our stylish selection. These rich chocolate-coloured numbers (above left) from Peter Kaiser will look gorgeous with skinny jeans tucked in. If you’re looking for a style to really lengthen the leg, try these Clarks Kendra boots with black tights and an above the knee skirt. Finally,  pictured on the right is the most dramatic option- these navy over-the-knee boots from Peter Kaiser. We love the idea of wearing these with a loose-fitting mini dress and channeling our inner 1960s flower child.

Casual days

We’ve all had those days where the idea of wearing anything but pyjamas is extremely unappealing. Luckily, tucking some skinny jeans into one of these pairs and adding an oversized jumper can feel just as comfy. We love the fleece accent around the opening of these light tan-coloured Manas boots on the above left. The quilted accent on the suede Skechers option on the top right really creates that cosy vibe, perfect for when the temperature is dipping. Last but not least, we have the classic and simple Emu Paterson boots on the bottom right in black. Create that apres-ski look by teaming these with opaque tights and a denim mini.

Statement style

Let your footwear be the statement part of your outfit. Add a pop of colour with these Rieker boots pictured above left. The block heel gives you that height boost while staying comfy. Fringe is a trend that’s here to stay and these Vionic Faros boots on the top right will add just the right amount of cowgirl-chic to your look. Finally, the Chelsea boot is given a makeover with this gorgeous burgundy-toned Rieker pair. The combination of patent leather and suede creates a wonderfully luxe look for the Autumn/Winter season.
