The definition of happiness!

I hope you're well and you're enjoying February! All of a sudden, evenings seem a little lighter don't they! Fantastic, spring and summer are within reach… I hope!!

They say it's the simple things in life, which often bring a smile to our face. Well, take a look at the video below of Popcorn our hamster (brother to Rosy, our other gorgeous hamster). He's enjoying a tasty treat!

You can see his little hands grasp the food as he nibbles away. Normally, Popcorn or Rosy will pop the food in their pouch to save, but sometimes the food is just too tasty to save! You'll know what I mean if you've seen me present kitchen shows! The guest does the talking and I do the eating!!

I'm off work for a few days now. We're staying at home (I think the term is staycation!) but we plan to do a spot of indoor climbing plus a visit or two to the cinema.

I'm back on air on Saturday 18th February with Skagen watches at midday and at 5pm – I hope you can join me. The range is stunning. And looking at my schedule, another Skagen show on Sunday at 11am! Hope you can join me.

In the meantime, take care and have a great week.

Charlie x

Ps. Remember… some things are just too nice to save x

    Hiya Charlie,
Awwww I love your picture of your hamster Popcorn. I have pet fancy rats and I love to see them playing in their cage and eatting their food.
I hope you enjoy your week off. 🙂

Hi Rebecca, thanks for your reply.
I had a wonderful week off thank you. I always wanted a pet rat as a young boy but my Mum said a very firm no!! It’s the tails which disturbed her apparently!
    Take care

    Hello Marian,
Thank you for your kind words. I don’t recall what popcorn was eating – to be honest he has several favourites!
    Best wishes

I think you must be enjoying your week off as I think I saw you strolling past me in TW17 today! The sun was shining and you had a tshirt on – as had I! The sun had warmth to it for the first time this year and it definitely felt like a spring day & seemed to put a smile on everyone’s face!

Hello Susan, it probably was me… Had I ironed the t-shirt??!!
To be honest, I’m guilty of wearing t-shirts on cold wintery days too! There’s a real sense of warmth in the air right now… However, today is a little chilly!
    Take care
