The Autumn/ Winter collection is here and I can’t stop shopping!

Hello! I hope you’ve all been keeping well. I’ve been a bit poorly with a cold, it’s doing the rounds. Probably to do with the shift in temperature, it’s definitely getting chilly now. I’ve even had a fire going this weekend which was lovely.

Despite my cold I’ve been doing my happy dance for two reasons… one, the kids are now BOTH back at school so there are moments of tranquillity around the house. Two, the new Autumn/Winter fashion pieces have arrived and they are AMAZING!

OK, so firstly let’s talk boots. I’ve ordered a few pairs! I struggle with heels, as you may have heard me mention on air, I get a real burn on the balls of my feet. So I wanted a smaller heel and worried that my options might be a bit fuddy duddy. Thanks so our wonderful buyers I had nothing to worry about, in fact I’m spoilt for choice! Check these out from Peter Kaiser  (below left) I have them in Ruby, they have such a cute bow on them. And I have these in Sage suede – also from Peter Kaiser.

Then there are these from Mitarotonda (above right)… I LOVE the grey but my size has gone! I’m hoping some more will come in, but if your size is there you should get them, they’re GORGEOUS!

And for those moments when you need a heel, but don’t want the pain, then the Vionics are a must! These are so cool and you would never think that these are an orthopedic shoe. The sole is unique in that it supports your feet under the arch so the pressure is evenly distributed and you don’t get the build up on the balls of your feet. They really are an incredible brand for helping with alignment and comfort.

As well as my verging on unhealthy obsession with our range of footwear at the moment, I’m also in love with the wide leg and high-waisted trousers we have. Phase Eight have these in Navy, they’re stunning, as are these, very country chic. And I also have to share with you this dress from Ghost (below left) is so beautiful, it’s made of viscose but feels like silk. Every body shape looks incredible in this. If you have an occasion coming up where you want to feel a million dollars, this is the dress!

If you love the Leopard Print trend, and I absolutely do! Then have a look at this faux fur coat from Rino & Pelle (above right), and it’s machine washable so no expensive dry cleaning bills!

We had a new make-up brand arrive at QVC this week, Nude by Nature. They are an Australian brand, PETA certified and 100% natural. Already we are getting great reviews for their range, and I love it. I’m absolutely head over heels with their foundation, which we are currently offering with a brush. I am the Champagne colour, there are 20 to chose from.

I am someone who has very sensitive skin, and rosecea, yet when I used this my skin did not itch at all at any point in the day, and even when I dozed off still wearing it, in the morning my skin felt amazing. Smooth and soft! Not that I’m recommending you do this, but we all have those nights when we’re just so tired we can’t keep our eyes open, and because it’s 100% natural my skin wasn’t irritated or dry. Just amazing!

Their concealer is so creamy and illuminating. No dryness, nothing sinking into any of the fine lines and instantly covered my dark circles. It contains Shea Butter, Vitamin E, Jojoba and other lovely natural ingredients, that help hydrate the eye area and help smooth and illuminate the under eye area. It’s a joy to apply and wear.

And all hail their Brow Palette. This will last you a year at least, it’s so huge! You get two different shades in the palette you chose and a brow highlighter. The palette is so pretty has a large mirror and a great brush to apply. It goes on easily and stays on, giving you lovely sculpted eyebrows in seconds. I have the Brunette option, it’s perfect!

Here I am before and after using their foundation in Champagne, their Black Mascara, Natural Beige Concealer and Desert Rose Blush, and the Brunette Brow Palette. A lovely fresh look that took two minutes to achieve.

There are lots of lovely lipsticks and glosses to choose from as well as beautiful blushers, finishing powders, and lots more. Please have a look and give them a try.

If you’re looking for some great-value treats this week then The Big Deals are:

This lovely Swing Top from Modern Soul.

This amazing five-piece collection from Philosophy. Their range smells amazing and the mask in this set to help reduce pores is amazing!! Plus these pretty Glass Baubles from Home Reflections.

Thanks for reading my blog! I hope you enjoy updating your wardrobe with Autumn/ Winter pieces as much as I have.

Speak soon,

Lots of love

Alex xx
