Firstly, I'd like to congratulate Sue, who won my recent blog competition. The prize was a signed CD by Englebert Humperdink and a signed Uri Gellar spoon.
I'm looking out for more unusual prizes for the future 🙂
Apparently, there's a big football tournament on at the moment? Had you noticed?! I'm not a huge fan of football – not terribly fussed, sorry! However, Wimbledon tennis is a tournament I can get excited about.
I've been fortunate to attend the tournament for a number of years now and I was lucky enough to be drawn from the ballot again this year.
If you get the chance to go I highly, highly recommend it.
As I mentioned in a recent blog, I love to play tennis. I'm also receiving some additional coaching to help raise my game. In the photo at the top is my racket – my pride and joy! Just seeing the picture makes me want to go and work on my serve or hit a ball against the wall!
I'll take my camera to Wimbledon and will share some of the pictures in the next few weeks with you.
We're often asked what it's like to work at QVC. Not just 'on-air' but 'off-air' too. Well, we've been in our new premises for two years now and it has flown by. The facilities are fabulous, with a gorgeous lake on our door step which provides the perfect setting for a lunchtime picnic!
Dale and I share a dressing room. He wasn't in when I filmed this. If he were, I'd have been a lot tidier.
To be fair to us, we are immaculate compared to some of my colleagues! How Alison Young finds her way into her dressing room, let alone knows where everything is, is beyond me!

On Tuesday 24th I'm back on air at 8pm with the delightful Michelle Hope, and then I've got a fabulous hour with more from Northern Nights at 10pm.
