As your beauty expert, for me the Red Carpet Manicure system has a lot of plus points – and it’s not just the fact that the polish lasts for two whole weeks!
Did you know that if your nails are in full condition, even though you’ve tried different brands of strengtheners and you’re good with cuticle oils, it could be because of your age, your health state or the time of year.
This can means that you’re hitting a brick wall and can’t seem to get improvement on your nails. If this is the case for you, then I would recommend the Red Carpet Manicure system because it has a strengthening effect on your nail and helps to hold your nail together as it grows. You’ll find the condition of your nails could improve and you can achieve the shape and length that you wanted without any peeling.
My other fave pro tip is: did you know you could wear one coat of the clear base with two coats of the brilliant top coat as a nail strengthening and shiny nail? This will give you strength, especially if your nails are bendy and you avoid wearing colour as a consequence.
You can either add fashion colours, such as from OPI, Leighton Denny or Nails Inc, over the top and it will give a really smooth base, which will help your fashion colours last longer. And, whenever you remove your fashion colour with non-acetone remover, your clear Red Carpet glossy nail will still be there.
This machine offers those of you who like to do your nails on the go - such as on holiday or at your desk - a more mobile solution. And it’s the lowest price point that we’ve ever offered on the Red Carpet Manicure system.
There are three colour options – I’m currently wearing Mulled Wine (from the Earth and Wine Christmas duo) and Thank you Mum and Dad (from the Sparkle & Shine Festive Duo). Mulled Wine is a metallic red/pink and Thank you Mum and Dad is like the stars at night, giving multi-dimensional sheen when used over the top – in my case as a ring finger manicure.
But this would be a great over-coat for a French manicure or for any colour that you want to add some festive sparkle to. The third option is Fabulously Floral which are great colours for a bit of winter sun or to get ahead of the fashion. The other half of the Earth & Fire option duo is Caramel Moments to go with cashmeres and woollens, and Ruby Slippers (from the Sparkle & Shine duo) is going to be great for Christmas glamour.
The only advice I could give is to allow as much time to remove it as you do for putting it on. You dissolve it slowly with the pads and liquid provided and, in colder months, you can use a hairdryer as well when your nails are wrapped in foil, or maybe hold a cup of coffee, since when your hands and nails are cold it can take longer to remove. Removal will cause no damage. Only systems that are buffed or drilled off may cause damage, but when dissolving them off, they should still look great underneath.
I can definitely report, as a farm girl, that the Red Carpet Manicure lasts two weeks, the high shine stays and the only thing you notice in that time is the growth of the nail near the cuticle area coming up but no damage to the polish or shine or colour. Even doing tough jobs like pulling out vegetables, mucking out the horses or cleaning (not that I clean – Simon will laugh at me for that one)…
Make sure to tune in this Thursday (21st November) to get your hands on this fantastic nail care set.
