Hello and thank you for reading my blog.
The weather is changing and we seem to be getting more fine and sunny days which is wonderful, so be sure to join us this Saturday and Sunday morning at QVC as I have a weekend of DIY and gardening for you with lots of expert advice and fun as always.
I rather like this picture taken in the QVC garden where Michael Perry and I were joined by one of our studio co-ordinators Alex, to prove the garden bench that Gill Gauntlett was telling us about was big enough to seat three each side. Amanda Holden saw it on my social media and said we look like three BGT gardening judges – haha!
Next week a show I am really looking forward to hosting is Easiyo Yoghurt; haven’t posted this in a while and as always with food shows that I enjoy, I have to try and exercise some willpower not to eat and eat until I burst! If you haven’t tried EasiYo its the freshest yoghurt you can make at home just using tap water and a kettle! My favourite flavour is Greek and Coconut, if you haven’t tried this you really must give it a whirl! Join Gail Samways and me next Wednesday at 2pm, right after the lunchtime show.I am starting to settle in at home with the flat almost finished and I have treated myself to some new linens in the form of a wonderful Grey Northern Nights throw (you know me and grey!) and some new towels – they look wonderful in the new bedroom and bathroom.
I’m still on my exercise plan with a couple of weeks left of the 12 week programme that I’ve been following – you can see me below in a selfie taken at the gym looking sweaty but very happy! Talking of the gym, after my shower there, I always use Margaret Dabbs foot hygiene cream. It keeps my feet really healthy and and the antibacterial qualities are so important if you are bare foot in a communal area. This also happens to be #MyQVCfind – this is something we are launching at QVC where you can share a product you love with the rest of the QVC family.
Staying with beauty as June is Beauty Month, we have a really exciting offer at QVC for the whole month – anything from the beauty department will have a P&P cost of only £1.95 – hurrah – time to stock up methinks!
Finally – from June I am starting a new feature on my blog aimed at what QVC has to offer for men. It might be fashion, fitness, grooming or lifestyle. Is there anything in particular you would like to see? Topics, brands or products? Also, the only name I can come up with is ‘QVC Men’s Monthly’ – which sounds a bit dull – can you think of any other catchy names for this segment of my blog?
So, that’s it for this week. As always, sending big hugs
