I hope all’s well …
As I’ve written about before, I like to break up my summer by taking a few days leave here and there and although it means I don’t have that “big” summer break, it gives me plenty of downtime and a great opportunity to take short breaks to discover this wonderful country of ours. It also gives me plenty of opportunity to do work around the house and garden, as regular readers will know.
I’ve included a couple of photos from a recent day trip – how stunning are those Lorikeets?
If you visit my home you’ll notice we always have a beautiful selection of flower arrangements on window sills, coffee tables etc. I’d like to say I go out to the market every week and buy a huge selection of blooms and greenery and then spend hours displaying them in a favourite vase or bowl… but that would be naughty, as all I or Mrs F do is take them from a cupboard and swap them around after a little dust off!
The reason is they are the creations from Peony.
The only brand recognised by the RHS for their botanical excellence, I love Peony faux flowers because I love real flowers! As I look out of my living room window today, our garden is full of beautiful colours generated by years of planting flowers and shrubs. Only yesterday my Rainbow Buddleia (Budleja) from Plants2Gardens arrived via Hermes and were immediately given a long drink after their journey and planted out.
Julie Bates founded Peony with her mother and all of the exquisite creations are still hand assembled on the Ruckley Estate, their wonderful family stately home set in magnificent grounds in the stunning Shropshire countryside. The picture of Julie and I is from an earlier show.
There is literally something for every home, whatever it’s size or indeed the size of your budget and they are so often bought as gifts for friends and family as well as adorning our own homes.
We have a Peony Today’s Special Value tomorrow (pre-launching tonight at 9pm) and I’ll be with Julie at 9pm tomorrow, assuming the stock is still available.
Our TSV is a Summer Bouquet arrangement in a presentation box ready for gifting – featuring roses, peonies, astilbe and foliage.
There will be the option for an Auto Delivery of further differing seasonal designs 60 days apart too – i.e Hydrangeas in September, Amaryllis in November and Spring Wild Flowers in January! Of course you can cancel your Auto Delivery at any time, should you decide to take this option.
The arrangement is ready to place into your favourite vase but there are always plenty of vases available on our website if you’re looking for a new look.
Until next time… remember three birds on the arm are worth a tarantula in the hand! (No! I haven’t had a drink 😉 )
