Accessorise with Ashling: My top picks

In case you haven’t noticed, I’ve got quite the thing for accessories: bags, scarves, hats… you can never have too many (although I’m pretty sure my husband would disagree). So, unsurprisingly I’m loving the new show where I get to share all of my top picks and styling tricks.

From Radley and Danielle Nicole to Lulu Guinness and Clarks, QVC has so many incredible brands to choose from for all your accessory wishes. And this week I’ve got some gorgeous new pieces to share. We’re talking knee high boots (great over skinny jeans or under midi skirts), cross-body bags (fashion’s bag of the moment) and huge blanket scarves (ideal Christmas gift – hint, hint).

With it getting pretty chilly out there, you can’t beat a bit of faux fur, some cosy knits and the odd bobble hat. So Pia Rossini is just the label. I may be a little biased, as, despite its beautiful Italian name, it’s actually from Ireland, my homeland. But seriously, you’re going to want all they have to offer.

My leopard-loving self made a beeline for the animal print blanket scarf. Oh my word. WANT. LOVE. NEED! Not only is it super warm, but in this print it’s also unquestionably stylish. It will go over almost anything in your wardrobe from winter white chunky jumpers to this season’s most-sought after coat (the camel coat, in case you’re interested). And Pia Rossini know they’re on to a good thing because they’ve made this wrap in a number of prints – so basically there’s a style for almost every day of the week. The Amberly (Today’s Special Value offer) is my second favourite.

Every winter I treat myself to a new hat. Pia Rossini has both bobble styles and fedoras. While the fedora is lush, the practical voice in my head (it’s not a very loud voice), suggests a woolly option is way more sensible on the school run. But sensible definitely doesn’t mean boring, especially with a faux fur pom pom!

Each show wouldn’t be complete without a few good bags. There’s a lot of cooing as we prepare all the outfits and this week was no exception. Meet the Radley London Duke shoulder bag. Cue lots of oohs and aahs. This beauty is timeless and yet so very now. With hundreds of top bloggers raving about Radley, I imagine this will be snapped up. Plus in the Navy, it’s going to look amazing against this season’s metallics.

Finally (before I get completely carried away), if you’ve got a cheeky weekend getaway on the cards, I have just the bag. Designed by the very talented Amanda Lamb, who definitely knows a thing or two about packing with all her work travels, I bring you the Amanda Lamb leather holdall. Nice, right?! It’s a great size, comes in delicious classic colours and, honestly, it made me feel like booking a posh trip to get to use it (as opposed to standing in my street!)

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the show and make sure you tune in for loads more goodies and plenty of fashion advice. Any questions simply drop me a line on Instagram @ashlingrose

Happy accessorising!

Sadly your picks are suitable for women in your own image, who are young beautiful able bodied and well off.
I would have liked to see as well, appropriate styles and prices for those less fortunate in these attributes.
