It's been a while, but as my usual war cry goes…crazy busy as norm!
Just got back from a 12-day holiday in Israel, but even that was crazy busy. Up at 5-5.30am every day! It was a bit of a hiking-touring trip, so no lazing about the pool for me (that'll come later on the beach in Italy π !).
Anyway, loved every second. Of course hubby has to upstage my little hiking effort. He set off for Everest on Wednesday (and I don't mean the double glazing company either!). He's not going to the top, I think he stops at around 22,000 feet, but it's still a "fair stretch of the legs" as my mum used to say π
Anyway, hope you're all well and have been enjoying QVC and some of the great shows we've had of late. Which brings me to the title of my blog. Did you see our "Got to Have It" event on Bank Holiday Monday? Well, in light of that, and our launch to Beauty Month this weekend with our bareMinerals TSV (see the gorgeous photo!), it got me thinking (always dangerous!)…
New law passed: you're now only allowed to own three items of makeup at any one time. What would they be?
Mine:
bareMinerals foundation
bareMinerals eyebrow pencil
Rodial Glamstick Bite
Now, in reality I realise that I need an awful lot more than the above to make myself look anywhere near presentable, but if it was narrowed down to just three, that's what they'd be (if I could have four, I'd add in a Laura Geller blusher), but anyway, what about you? And at a push what if it was only one item? Ouch! Now that prospect hurts! But I do think it would have to be my bareMinerals foundation! Do get in touch and let me know π
By the way, you may be wondering what the random photo of a cup of coffee has to do with all this. This is my middle son Phil's passion for coffee.
For so many of us, this is an absolute "must have" first thing in the morning. He's entering a coffee art competition this evening and does all that fancy art stuff on coffee like flowers, leaves, hearts etc.
What do I think of it all? I think it's absolutely brilliant (but then, I am his mum :-)!).
Take care all and do get in touch.
Love
Anne x

Hi Anne,
Fabulours photo of Phil’s coffee designs! I do love coffee and the smell especially. I cannot believe your hubby is off to Everest! Is he a big walker? That’s amazing! And your Israel hol sounds fab too! You’re a real adventure bunny. You and Kathy should team up on your hols and go off walking!
Lots of love as always,
Susan x

I saw you on screen (over the weekend?) and wanted to say how nice your hair is looking. Love the style. I have short, wavy hair and if I come back in another life, I want it long!

Hey Susan,
Great to hear from you as always!
Indeed Danny is very much the mountain climber, walker, rugby player, cricketer and sooo many other sports besides. I’m not in the same league really (well not yet anyway)!!
Lots of love

Hey Beth.
Thanks for the lovely comments. At the moment not really feeling the whole energy thing but I think that’s because I’m off to Italy on Thursday with a lovely friend for a relaxing 9 days and I’ve already started unwinding!!!
Take care
