Sam and MarkSTOP PRESS – if you watch the CBBC show 'Sam & Mark’s Friday Wind-Up', don’t miss tonight’s (21st Feb) show – you may just see yours truly in a small cameo during one wind-up concerning a pair of trousers! Or watch on i-Player!

And I’m chuffed to be sharing the episode where Jessie J also makes an appearance. If you see it, do leave a comment below! (6pm Fri 21st CBBC channel, or after on i-Player) Loved that they tweeted back to @qvcuk and me earlier in the week!

In the top pic this week, you can see the adorable Ronnie Nicole dress, which had mostly sold out by midday after my Sunday night launch. Then the next night the same thing happened with the Vionics sandals with Jilly. And then by Thursday morning show, the Bethlehem Lights lamp TSV had completely sold out by 10am!

It seems our bargains are flying at the moment, so I’m telling people please don’t leave it till after work to order, and if you can, join us at midnight! See below for some tips about which TSV’s to watch launch as they may not last the day!

Debbie and GoodySo my lovely pal Goody and I (she’s the blonde in the beige dress in the pic) had a good catch up this week, having not seen her for aaaages! Our two days of fashion meant lots of the regular models were in.

Goody and I love going to retreats, so we’re discussing maybe taking a trip away to somewhere really different, in April. And she said what about Tibet! Apparently one of her literary heroes is T. Lobsang Rampa, a channelled Tibetan monk via a Devonshire plumbers’ son, who wrote lots of fascinating books in the late 50’s onwards.

Well, of course those who have read my Hawaiian Escape will know it ends with a potential trip to Tibet for one of the characters! (I won’t give too much away! Lol)

So – shall we go? Anyone been? Got any tips?

Plus sizeAs many of you may know, one of my top fashion guests (and I have so many) is Antthony. This week, even as QVC UK were running our two day fashion event, he was thinking of us curvier ladies.

Yes, whilst I may be endeavouring to shift some pounds in my Break the Habit Challenge, I still need clever clothes to help me do it, and on his website, Antthony is currently running a fabulous guide to better dressing for the rounder figure.

Do go here to see more, and be sure to let him know what you love of his fashions!

He wasn’t here this time round, but he’ll be back end March!

Over on my Monday Update on, this week will be a fabulous piece about the placebo effect, following the Horizon prog – did you see it? Really is food for thought. But here on this page, I thought I’d ask you a question – are you one of those people who declares ‘I’m addicted to sugar?’

If you are, here’s some wonderful ideas from my lovely macrobiotic magician Marlene Watson Tara – ‘naturally sweetened desserts’ – much better for you and maybe a good stop gap. She also explains in the video about fat burning simplified.

More info on her website about the rest of her videos in Weight Loss Nature’s Way. This one’s really long tho! Enjoy!

[Having trouble viewing this video? See YouTube's Help page

And I can tell you for certain, her desserts are incredible – you needn’t miss out completely, especially if you’re Freedom Eating as well.

More Back to You on – over on my website's Back to You page this week’s Monday Update includes: more health tips, fab info including news on THE LAST DAY you can get the freebie shorter eBook of 'Till the Fat Lady Slims' – last free day is 21st!

RiWiSi – my weekly look at all things book!

Cuckoo's CallingFirst, news online this week, that J.K. Rowling is writing a second book under pseudonym Robert Galbraith, and I’m so pleased – ‘her’ ‘Cuckoo’s Calling’ was one of my favourite novels of 2013. It should be out in the summer, or so we’re told!

'The Silkworm' will follow our hero again, private investigator Cormoran Strike, as he investigates the murder of a novelist. The victim wrote a manuscript before his death slating a number of public figures, and they all become suspects. More news here.

– First, during Bronzo Italia, the topic of measurements suddenly loomed large…

– Yong Kim boo-boos – and a couple from Ingrid – OMG is she so funny. We had an absolute scream on air this week – as you’ll see from these two snippets! Enjoy!

Cheat sheetDating Cheat Sheet Since last week’s topic of romance was so thought-provoking, here’s a follow up – the ultimate cheat sheet for meeting the love of your life, mainly for guys. It includes ‘ask out everyone’ and ‘out-no the woman’. How much of it do you agree with in terms of it helping meet ‘the one’? How did you meet yours? Click here for more.

AfterFound the link! Thanks so much to Sandra Page who emailed me the link for the youtube video of the whole of the Stars in Their Eyes which I was in in around 1991!

As I said – sounded like Sheena Easton, looked like Eartha Kitt! Lol. Watch this video here and you’ll see!

HollyHolly wobbles I’m getting a little concerned about poor Holly dog, my veteran labrador, considering how ‘out of it’ she seems nowadays, has been pretty unsteady on her legs.

She’s been pooing all over the place for some time now, sadly, so I’m taking her to the vet this weekend to see if there’s any palliative care they can give her. Poor Holly. She’s at the front of this pic of my brood of four – double-double trouble!

50pUK’s Rarest 50 pence piece Hey did you hear about this ultra-rare 2009 Kew Garden pagoda 50p? Only 210,000 were ever made (compare that to the four part ‘royal arms’ 2008 one which has 22.7 million in circulation!).

Have you got one? They’re going for up to £20 each on eBay, this article says! Must go dig out my pockets! Lol.

Facebook Funny Doing the rounds on facebook this week – another NFL Bad Lip Reading video– where they lip synch with weird words but it looks so real! Some really funny ones in this clip! (Mind you, my fave is still Michael Buble Russian Unicorn from a year or so back with over 7m views now!!)

Well! As promised, off I went with pal Kipling Kerena to Epsom Odeon last weekend to have a close encounter of the Clooney kind. And yes he didn’t disappoint. I have to say he is looking definitely older in this biopic of the real life army-art-rescuers, trying to locate and restore stolen masterpieces before Hitler destroyed them in the Second World War. But I didn’t mind.

Hugh Bonneville was fabulous (see Graham Norton link below) and Bill Murray is also in it. If it had been Alfonso Cuaron directing, we might have seen a grittier, darker film. But as it was Clooney’s handywork, the end product was a little over-shmaltzy, with on-the-nose dialogue a little too often. So whilst it was good, it wasn’t great, it didn’t move me too much and I giggled more than I felt their pain. The star was undoubtedly Cate Blanchett – as ever. Overall, she knocks it up and extra quarter, taking it to 8/10.

P.S. And do catch the Graham Norton show with Monuments Men stars, Matt Damon and Bill Murray, as well as a hilarious Hugh Bonneville – well worth a watch! Click here to see it on i-Player.

NEXT WEEK – WHAT HAPPENED ON MY WEEK AWAY?! Time for some annual leave, firstly to my lovely writing pal Alix in Devon once again, then a little spa break.
