Stay Cozee and Beardie Meetup!

I hope this blog finds you as well as can be expected, as always.

I am presenting an exciting, premiere show called ‘Gem hunter’ on Wednesday 11th which takes the form of a three-hour special featuring an enticing mix of exotic gems that are rarely if ever seen on the high street.

The show will bring us some of the rarest genuine gemstones in the world and the “Gem Hunter” collection takes you on a journey to some of the most remote locations on Earth. With direct access to mines around the globe, join the ‘Gem Hunter’ as QVC brings you rare vault finds, brand new discoveries and the finest quality gemstones direct from source. We’ll be featuring the stunning Itinga Blue Topaz, Artigas Amethysts, Kyanite, Kanchanaburi Sapphire and many more !

I’ll be joined by a guest who is indeed a genuine Gem expert with many years experience and he’s also no stranger to QVC – Eli Rifkind. Eli is somebody who really does know the Gem business inside out and has spent many many years sourcing unusual exotic gemstones.

We will also be announcing details of an enticing competition to stand the chance of winning a stunning pair of earrings featuring in the show with a value of almost £400! Details of which will be revealed during the show on Wednesday.

To enter the competition, I’ll be posting a special “Gem Blog” on Friday the 13th – It’ll be lucky day for someone! All  you have to do is leave a comment and you’ll be entered in the draw! Terms and conditions will be available at from Friday.

Final Cozee Home offer this season!

Just a quick heads up on a very cosy TSV that I’ll be bringing to you on the stroke of Midnight this Thursday in the form of Friday’s Cozee Home four-piece Duvet Set. It’s a stylish scroll design and will be our last Cozee Home TSV opportunity of the Season. Available in Light Taupe, White and Blue each having a darker elegant scroll design overlay. Cozee Home offers that gorgeous fleecy warm cosy against your skin sensation and has fast become a real customer favourite.

Remember this is the last opportunity to bag a Cozee Home offer this season. I was given a sample to try out at home and I have to say I was really impressed, particularly in this recent cold spell – the name is very apt. Obviously I was the one who was supposed to try it out, but my daughter was quick to seize the opportunity to try it out in her bedroom first – she’s the one in the family who wears bed socks and takes a hot water bottle to bed! She was the ideal candidate and was a very happy girl and at the time of writing I still haven’t managed to prise it from her. Hope you can join me on Thursday Night with Cozee Home guest Debra.

Beardie Meetup

Last weekend we visited our first Bearded Collie Club Show, just as visitors, we weren’t showing our two – we were contacted by Carole and Barry, Ellie’s breeders and it was a real treat for us to see so many Beardies in one place and particularly as Ellie met up again with a litter Brother and Sister Daisy and also her Grandmother Darcy was there. Toby met up with a Niece owned by his lovely breeder Elaine (an avid QVC fan). Ellie’s brother and Toby’s niece both qualified for Crufts – so congrats to them.

I don’t for one moment think that Toby knew his niece or Ellie her Gran, but a TV program on last month suggested that Pups can recall their siblings for quite a while after splitting up from their litter – so Ellie may have remembered her brother and Sister? It’s so hard for us humans to tell as all Beardies seem to greet each other like long-lost friends regardless.

Watch out for the Special Gem competition blog this Friday – someone will win a fab prize worth nearly £400 !

Till then take care and stay warm!
