Start planning your festive party looks now

Now that we’ve put the clocks back it’s time to think about adding some sparkle to the long dark evenings. And what better excuse than creating a stunning outfit for the festive season.

After you’ve decided how you’re going to wear your hair, and the lipstick shade is sorted, you’ve booked an appointment at the salon to get your tan applied and your mani-pedi is party-ready… all that’s left to choose is the outfit.

The QVC HQ Christmas party is always a perfectly glamorous affair and the girls in the office love deciding on what we’re going to wear. We’ve pulled together a few of our favourite pieces and created looks from some of your favourite fashion, accessories and jewellery brands to inspire your festive looks for 2015.

The Jumpsuit

A fantastic alternative to the maxi, the jumpsuit is a piece that you can style up as glam as you dare. This Onjenu monochrome version has a flattering all-over print and wide waistband. Team with a pretty Diamonique triangle necklace and these Frank Usher earrings to add sparkle, choose a chic Radley crossbody bag so you can hit up the dance floor and add a pop of colour with these beautiful two-tone suede court shoes form Peter Kaiser.

 The Lace Dress

Lace is a classic and timeless fabric that never fails to make us feel feminine and these dresses from Ronnie Nicole will do just that, especially when teamed with a statement necklace like this crystal collar one from Frank Usher. Try out the red fit-and-flare dress and add golden shimmer with this clutch bag from Lodis, and matching gold heeled sandals from Clarks. Opt for the fitted black lace dress on the other hand and add colour with these Peter Kaiser heels and a stunning velvet roses Lulu Guinness bag.

The Maxi Dress

The festive season is the perfect excuse to go all out and there are fewer looks more glamorous than the maxi dress. This stunning red gown from Nina Leonard will fall above the ankles meaning you can show of a stunning pair of heels like these Swarovski embellished gold sandals from Peter Kaiser. Team with a gold cuff from Roberto by RFM and a subtle snakeskin effect gold bag from Frank Usher to keep your essentials with you all evening.

The Sequinned Top
If you prefer to keep your party looks a little more understated but still want to sparkle, the sequinned top is your new BFF. This blue Fashion by Together version looks great teamed with the Women with Control embossed animal leggings, these Mary Jane Adesso heels and a multi-coloured sparkling purse. Top off the look with a statement necklace and ensure no one is in doubt that you’re ready-to dance the night away!

On-Trend Tops
If your Christmas party is more about the great times than glam looks the embellished top is the perfect way to add a subtle spritz of glitz. These tops from Nina Leonard will look great teamed with a pair of faux-leather trousers from Kim & Co. and a chic gold clutch from Frank Usher. Whether you chose the red sequins or the black beaded top, team with pretty pearl drop earrings from Honora then simply choose between the Peter Kaiser Swarovski heels or the beautiful Clarks snake-print loafers, depending on the do you’re attending.
