Spring has sprung!

My son took this picture of the most beautiful double rainbow the other day and it was a joy to behold! I was out walking with the dogs just recently and really felt the warmth of the sun on my back, and it was only 9.15 in the morning!

So I feel that spring has really arrived.

I have serviced my lawnmower ready for the first cut of the grass, although it’s too wet to do anything right now, and with all the chat at QVC with Richard Jackson and the rest of the gang, I am getting really excited about the planting and growing this year.

All the tulips I planted last year are really coming through and my peonies have just started to show some green shoots. I am thinking about getting some beautiful Gladiolus bulbs that Suzanne from Thompson and Morgan told me about at the weekend  to plant in between that so that when the tulips have gone these will replace them….. oh so much to do!

I have got to give all my decking a really good clean this year and re-coat with some decking oil but my trust Karcher will be put to good use and hopefully make light work of all the winter gloop!

In fact with all this to sort before Easter, why am I writing this blog… I have to get out there!
