Something for you to look forward to…

Hi everyone!

I feel as if it’s been ages since we caught up! Life has been pretty hectic of late and I promise a proper update next week.

In the meantime I thought I’d just give the heads up on probably one of the best Today’s Special Values of the year, due to hit your screens this Sunday! It is indeed the amazing Liz Earle Christmas TSV…….. so it’s going to be a good one without a doubt. I’m not going to wax lyrical about everything you get and how fabulous it all is because to be honest, many of you will recognise the products and value immediately anyway. And if you’re new to the range, I certainly couldn’t possibly do it justice in a brief blog!! So, either way, it’s best to tune in!

I have a whole hour of the lovely brand at 11am this Sunday, and it’s always wise to get your orders in early as that tends to be a very busy hour anyway, especially when it’s a big beauty brand like Liz Earle!

I will just say though, there’s not many brands out there that have ticked the boxes when it comes to skincare in every age bracket! From teenagers and twenty-somethings through to 70s, 80s and beyond, the range really does seem to just hit the spot!! (Is that pun intended?) My mum started using Cleanse & Polish in her late 70s!!!

Obviously (and very luckily) as presenters here at QVC we get to try a whole host of brands and products, but I have to be honest with you, there has not been one day gone by in the last 16 years whereby there hasn’t been at least one item of this range in active use in my bathroom!!

It is a tremendous pity and with great regret that the same cannot be said for chocolate and goodies, as my bathroom scales will indeed testify to. (I so cannot believe this…… I am typing this blog, I was interrupted by the postman delivering a supply of Gower Cottage Chocolate Brownies!!! Aaahhhhhh!!!). No Anne, be strong!!! They are meant to be for Christmas!!

Friends, the situation is serious! I’m only 1lb off being the heaviest I’ve ever been and that was post-Christmas last year!! People say, “Oh just write off the rest of this year and start in January!” But I simply cannot. I will indeed become that six-bedroom detached house (or bungalow, as I’m not very tall) if I don’t do something!! Also Danny and I are going to South Africa at the end of next month for two weeks to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I have organised a safari for a few days, but if I’m not careful, I may well be confused for some of the wildlife!!

So with my Nutri Ninja to hand (that was last Monday’s Today’s Special Value), I’m going to attempt to attack this problem even if only to make a small dent to my waistline in the five  weeks that remain before departure! Sorry, what’s that you say?? Oh yes I forgot, I have a Thorntons show at midday on Sunday directly after Liz Earle!! Oh well, I suppose I can always start on Monday! (Yeah right, where have I heard that before!!).

Take care you lovely lot and I’ll be in touch again next week. 🙂
