really looking forward to seeing Stephanie on Thursday and i really an hoping that QVC has taken down their P&P on craft items as they are far to high .This is the reason i stopped ordering from QVC if not i will stick with C&C as you can order any amount of items just for just 6.99.

  2. Jane Cockerill April 4, 2012 at 5:30 am -  Reply

Please QVC don’t flood your channel with CD roms. There are still a lot of crafters who don’t want to use a computer in their crafting. Why do people keep producing A4 papers when scrapbooking is so popular in 12×12? If you watch alternative craft channels the shows that sell out in no time at all are not CD roms!

  3. Sally April 4, 2012 at 10:35 am -  Reply

Sorry but cds are not high on my crafting list.
I love Anna Griffin and K & Company.
I think many crafters will be disappointed.

I enjoy all Stephanie`s CD’s and DVD`s, but agree with Hazel the
postage of QVC makes the purchase of many of the additional items
you would normally buy on such a programme too costly. Especially
    being on a pension.

Agree with both previous comments really miss the dedicated scrapbook hours especially Rosemary, would certainly buy more if the p&p charges were lower such as the capped idea. Realise that this would mean a longer dispatch time but would be worth it. Please listen to your customers who are constantly requesting this.

  10. TracyJ April 4, 2012 at 11:29 am -  Reply

I agree Hazel – I too stopped buying craft stuff from QVC due to the postage costs. It’s going to take a lot from QVC now to get me back from C&C. Just hoping it’s not ‘more of the same’ from MCS, got very boring lately using the same images on a multitude of CDs but saying that – I am prepared to have a look and if per chance it does take my fancy I may just buy but it will depend on content, price and postage cost.

Totally agree with Jane regarding P&P on QVC, waslooking at something crafty this morning (first time on QVC) went to checkout, P&P was £3.95 for 1 small item – WOW

  12. Hazel White April 4, 2012 at 11:35 am -  Reply

please QVC do not make the same mistake as the other craft channel IE. not allowing the guest presenters to demo their products properly, and please NO interuptions with stock updates, until the demo is over, the products will sell themselves with a great presenter like our Stephanie.

looking forward to stephs show. I agree with the comments about cd’s, you can have an overload of them. Also, hope it has been mentioned to management about the p & p otherwise it could be a disaster for QVC if crafters don’t order because of this issue. Crafting at QVC has been in the wilderness for quite some time now and this is an ideal opportunity with Steph and Co to make it good.

I agree with the previous persons comments re postage, also, after the demos we have nejoyed in the past with Steph and her gang I can’t see how it will work with QVC., they rush rush rush through demos’ never realy getting ideas like we have been used to, I hope for your sake that this new venture works out, I probably will not be buying or watching (well, maybe just out of curiosity I will take a quick peek) – but that will be all.
Sorry Steph I think you have taken a backward step,I look forward to your return to the other side!!!!

I like CD Roms and have many of Stephanies My Craft Studio CD’s already so can’t wait to see what the new features are. A combined postage option would be great as it can soon mount out if you buy a number of items. The problem with other CD’s sold on QVC is I am never sure of the angel policy attached to them as it is hardly ever mentioned, I know there is a full angel policy on My Craft Studio CD’s with no quantity or internet restrictions. Have a great time Stephanie, I for one am really looking forward to seeing you on this channel.

  23. Anne Peters April 4, 2012 at 1:54 pm -  Reply

I have to concur with Hazel about the postage costs. I started my “crafting career” with QVC but then drifted to another programme for 2 reasons, firstly more frequent shows and secondly the cost of the p & p.
Am really looking forward to seeing the show (although have to say have set the recorder as I will be fast asleep by then!) Can’t wait to see the new MCS as I have several of their cds already and looking forward to seeing Stephanie again.
Good luck Stephanie and all the gang with your new shows

I am looking forward to watching Stephanie and see the TSV launch but I agree the p&p charges on QVC is quite expensive.

  27. Jo Dyson April 4, 2012 at 2:25 pm -  Reply

I agree that there shouldn’t be lots of CDs on QVC. Joanna Sheen’s are fantastic but My Craft Studio’s are too complicated and I believe will leave lots of QVC’s viewers disappointed. QVC has an advantage over C&C who won’t send goods abroad. QVC send abroad quickly and very reasonably.

  28. Maralyn April 4, 2012 at 2:26 pm -  Reply

I agree – post and packing far too expensive on QVC – and no incentive such as the Create and Craft Club to obtain discounts which us crafters really need.
I have too many cd droms at present to even consider buying more.

  29. Maureen Monger April 4, 2012 at 2:26 pm -  Reply

As an avid collector of all of the MCS cd’s obviously I want to continue to collect them, however now they are to be sold on QVC my 10% club discount from the previous provider cannot be used, so if the prices remain similar to before and also with QVC high postage it will be costing me much more to continue with something I really enjoy. I do hope your faithful followers will not be let down Stephanie. Good luck though.

I wish Stephanie lots of luck in her new appointment. It will be interesting to see what changes she can make at QVC. Hope it will not all be My Craft Studio items. Will her team (particularly diane and nancy ) be joining her on screen?

I totally agree with comments about the postage. How can C&C do it for £2.99 per item,(capped at £6.99 for 3 or more items) QVC is really expensive to buy from. I will be interested to compare what the charges are on this TSV. I love my CD roms and have loads from My Craft Studio, but on QVC it is a bit of an unknown as to how they will handle the costing and P&P.

How lovely to have Stephanie back in our crafty lives, look forward to seeing her again. I have been with C&C for a few years now but will come back to QVC to see her and get her wonderful enthusiasm and brilliant crafting ideas. Not happy with the postal costs though, too expensive so I will monitor and see if this makes purchases economic. I agree with Jane Cockerills comments about the dreaded CD ROMS, too many on the market and are boring bring us more new tools etc.,

Stephanie is a great and inspirational crafter, hope that QVC give her the time and freedom to do proper demonstrations and to also have some fun. I also find the P&P a problem if I want to order more than 1 item so it would be good to have some capped P&P for an order at least occasionally.

  45. Judith Ord April 4, 2012 at 4:05 pm -  Reply

I am also looking forward to seeing Stephanie but I won’t buy the TSV as I already have all the CD roms I need.(I mainly use them for card inserts)
Agree about the P&P and will only buy from QVC if I can’t find the same cheaper elsewhere.

  46. Pam Whitney April 4, 2012 at 4:09 pm -  Reply

Jane, I don’t think you need worry as MCS are aware that some crafters do not like to use CD-Roms so provide alternatives, keeping everyone happy! Personally, I love to digitally craft with MCS, so I very much hope that the CD-Roms will still be available.
Hazel, I agree with you, the postage charges are far too high on QVC, and I very much hope this will change so that I will not be prevented from buying MCS goodies!

  47. Ness Bolton April 4, 2012 at 4:21 pm -  Reply

Isn’t it funny, I followed Dawn to the other side and now I will follow Stephanie to this side BUT there is a very important factor QVC need to take into account for those following Stephanie. It’s the postage costs, most items on QVC are £5.45 p&p and we all know it doesn’t cost nearly that to post a CD, even if you factor in the price of the padded envelope and a contribution towards the hourly rate of the despatch staff for their part. Also, we need to be able to order several items in one order so that the p&p prices can be consolidated into one parcel. So in short if I order 3 items from QVC I would pay around £15 for p&p, however if I order 3 or more items on C&C the most I will ever pay is £6.99. It’s a ‘no-brainer’ for the purchaser so QVC please use the power of the transferring audience and fans of Stephanie to sort this out,
Also, on a separate point, please allow Stephanie time to present her products without the usual terrible butting in from the presenter. Stephanie is an excellenter presenter herself and doesn’t actually need a co-presenter. There are a couple of QVC presenters I could name who are the main culprits but I won’t, save to say, if I start to get annoyed by the presentation format, I will simply go back to the other side!

  48. Barbara Rogers April 4, 2012 at 4:33 pm -  Reply

Lovely to see Stephanie back on QVC -I still have items I bought from QVC that Steph demonstrated many years ago. But as other customer say – please QVC do something about the p&p,it is much too expensive if you need to buy more than one item. Why not do as another channel I shop with does and charge 1 p&p for everything bought in that day in their case it is £4.95 and the same for the whole of the weekend. Good luck Stephanie x

I think there is room for both CD crafting and more traditional crafting. I use all things silhouette, cd roms, paper, card, ribbons, beads, feathers, pro markers metal embellishments, stamps too name but a few they all work beautifully together and Q.V.C sells lovely 12 x 12 card and paper. The P&P is a bit of a annoying but so is paying £2.99 for one small or cheaper items.
I wish all the team good-luck xxx

I’ve missed Stephanie on TV. Although I have never met the lady, I consider her a friend who is always welcome in my living room, the same goes for Diane and Nancy. I hope QVC will allow Stephanie and her gang space and scope for humour and dems. I’ve been less than happy with QVC’s somewhat stuffy and laboured take on crafting in recent times, though I started crafting (again) through finding crafting on QVC when I got my first Freeview box.

  55. Shirley Smith April 4, 2012 at 5:14 pm -  Reply

I used to buy all my crafting items from QVC but the postage costs made me look elsewhere and with the Create and Craft Club and the cheap postage costs I started buying from Create and Craft. I spend an average of £100 per month on craft so I will check to see if they have reduced the postage to a similar amount at Create and Craft if not I will wait and buy it from Steph’s own site later. If QVC want more customers they should drop their postage costs significantly.

Good to have Steph back on any craft channel – agree that I rarely buy anything from QVC due to the high postage costs.
As far as CD’s are concerned – I love them, they give me a lot of freedom in my crating – I can make my own designs, etc and always have something to hand to make cards with for anyone – I sell my cardst oo and always have something available for special requests.
I can colour digital images, do decoupage, etc, with them – but, I also buy stamps and papers with a special finish as well. I can add flowers, gems and anything I like so don’t feel limited at all
Will check this new cd out on QVC and if p&p is to high, again taking into account I can’t use my C&C discount will wait for it on Steph website and buy from there if costs are cheaper

Looking forward to seeing Stephanie on QVC, although I buy from C&C I do not like them that much, prefer QVC but won’t buy from you because your P/P is far too expensive, considering two on-line craft shops I buy from DO NOT charge for P/P Come on QVC the amount you buy in bulk is no reason for such high P/P, even £2.99 or capped at £6.99 is too much!! You will loose a lot of custom if you do not do anything about it & I will not bother to watch your programme anymore if the high P/P continues. We all like a bargain..

I do like cd crafting and you HAVE to cut out as they are not printed out as diecuts that you just push out! anyway Stephanie n gang have a great TSV as long as it’s not to pricey I’ll be buying & not wait 10 days

For anyone who doesn’t think that cd crafting is real crafting – you’re so wrong! It allows you to DESIGN as well as craft. Rather than pick up a bit of paper in a shop you can DESIGN that paper yourself. It’s much better and much more individual. I use my Cameo, Cougar, dies, inks, and all my other crafty stash alongside my CDs.
And yes, the p&p prices need to be capped on QVC. I’ll buy the TSV as it’s going to be fantastic, but I won’t buy much from QVC because of the postage.
Best of luck Stephanie! Can’t wait for midnight!

I don’t know what’s going on, first Leonie left Dawn and went to C&C, then Dawn followed her there, now Stephanie has defected to QVC. I think Leonie made a good move, she had outgrown Dawn and needed to leave the nest, but the other 2 seem nuts to me and should’ve stayed where they were. I really miss Stephanie on C&C. I will watch her tomorrow but I doubt that I will buy anything. QVC prices are always too high and the P&P costs are plain crazy. There are splinter QVC’s for other things, so why not for crafting. Start your own Craft Club. Good luck for tomorrow Stephanie

I used to love QVC craft and spent far too much but on reviewing my spending and the postage that is on every item with QVC I had to look at other site that offered either capped as Create and craft do or try and find sites with free postage. Come on QVC we all love your products and your customer services is far better than any other please give us crafter who spend a fortune some good offers.

Good luck Stephanie I am sure you will be a great success, you are inspirational, not too many cd’s there are so many on C&C we don’t really want to swamp QVC with the same as C&C. I hope QVC with be inventive and inspirational with craft this time and not just mat and layering….have a great night.. you will be fantastic..

loved steph on create and craft, so much fun and laughter, hope they let you laugh on here steph, and please QVC bring down your postage especially as you charge per item it does make some orders out of peoples price range. I also look on the internet for sites that dont charge postage if you order over a certain amount

Was not aware that Q.V.C were still crafting!!! No fixed time slots or advanced notice of shows, No longer a craft section on-line. Why has it took Q.V.C to realise that the world of crafting doesn’t starts and end with Dawn “My shop” Bibby, whom I must admit started to really annoy me with the same old stuff and lack of variety of crafts. Craft is such a broad area not just card making.
I am looking forward to new and varied experts. Please can we have more Rosemary Merry and scrap-booking. Sewing and textile crafts too.

Looking forward to seeing Steph back on the screen again…you go girl!! CD crafting is the way forward and becoming more popular with time. The way I see’s like having your own shop, and you don’t need to be techie to use crafting CDs….AND it takes nothing away from traditional crafting, it just means you can design your own crafty goodies, print them out, A3 or any other size, and then begin the hands on card and paper stuff, assembling your project…Brilliant, love it

Welcome back Steff…we have waited a long time to see you back where you belong!
I agree about the postage costs, it is far too high, and I too stopped ordering so much, for that very reason. C.D. roms I can do without really, the replacement inks for the printer are so high, but I can`t wait to see Steff again, and just hope she is given more time to demonstrate, without interuptions. As someone else has already said, crafters know what they want, so the goods will sell themselves.

I know this won’t please a lot of people, but sorry,I didn’t like the free download at all, facile, insipid and boring!

Welcome back Stephanie, I’m sure Nancy, Diane and yourself, will brighten up the QVC craft shows with your knowledge and humour. Please presenters allow proper demo time without constant interruptions. I’ve read all the posts and postage is an issue.
No one mentioned the fact that both Stephanie and Nancy are amazing artists… OK they’re starting with an MSC cd rom, but hopefully it’s a case of watch this space.

Welcome Steff, look forward to watching hope you get to finish some demos.I agree with all the comments about postage,I will not be ordering with the present postage,it is simply too expensive.

  85. Trish April 4, 2012 at 11:48 pm -  Reply

Like most people who have already commented I have been put off purchasing from QVC due to the exorbitant postage rates. I know that the returns policy is better at QVC,but the member discount and the capped P&P at C&C really makes a difference when you’re buying lots of items. Sadly the comments about Postage seem to have been ignored by the powers that be, so I for one will be watching but probably won’t buy.
It’ll be great to see Steph back on screen. I like the flexibility that CD Roms allow when crafting unlike the paper packs that quite often arrive damaged or you only get one sheet of the design you like best. At least with CD’s you can print off as many as you like. However, I would like to see a reasonably priced A3 printer on offer? I wouldn’t mind paying £5.95 to have that delivered!

Great to see Stephanie back on our screens. I totally agree with the others re P+P prices- they are simply ridiculous and a very big turn off from buying anything.
I do love QVC customer services- they truly are fabulous.
I have a really big bug with QVC. I live in Northern Ireland and 98% of last nights items could only be sent to mainland UK only. WHY???? This has never happened before with crafts as I have bought quite a bit in the past- now I don’t even get a choice. I am so disappointed and hope it changes real quick!!

I agree with the comments about postage,a big issue these days.
Steph you are missed on C&C. I have MCS Proff and it was my first go at CD crafting, I use it for all sorts of things and do enjoy using it. QVC crafting is nowhere as good as C&C but I do agree with the interruptions from presenters. I agree crafters can do it on there own. Good luck Steph. Thanks for the free download.

Not with standing I would just like to point out a couple of things, yes the P&P is better with C&C, but when a order is lost or arrives damaged, how is it dealt with by C&C, at least with QVC one can phone, to discuss any issues, with out cost to us the valued clients. I have to admit that I do not order as much as I used to, from QVC because of the postage, but I will not be returning to C&C when they do not even reply to regestared letters. My bank balance is a bit healther when I visit the crafting events. As they say each to it’s own and Happy crafting to us all, what ever type of crafting it may be. Good Luck.

I hope this means we are now going to get back our regular crafting slot how nice it was to stephannie back on the screen she has a real flair. Good to her and her team

I’m just so pleased to see Stephanie on QVC – she and Nancy are fantastic crafters plus they are modest about their talents not like other craft presenters who always seemed to be flogging THEIR shop, products, holidays etc. I agree with all the above comments about postage but I think it applies across the board on QVC products as I can buy clothes and send them back free to other companies hereas you have to pay to send a dress back to QVC so you get clobbered with postage charges twice. I’d like to see QVC get Kanban back as their goods are of a high quality plus any chance you can pinch Nigel from C&C as he’s such fun!

create and craft is not the same without you stephaine, you and nigel were great, full of laughter and fun. You both made it a pleasure to watch. Good luck with QVC.

I do have an account with QVC but i have stopped buying from them as being a crafter i am thrifty and i will not pay the p&p what QVC ask for. It’s extortionate, so i have change to another shopping channel. So message to QVC to bring back customers reduce your p&p.

I spoke to Stephanie at the NEC, she was lovely. I watched QVC and did buy the cd rom and cardstock, etc., and when you get into the cd rom there are some lovely things but the cost of inks means I am limiting myself to what I print, especially as I run a craft group and printing for 10 people gets expensive as we keep our charges low. I will use and the papers as they are beautiful, not too keen on cutting out flowers but the pattern on the reverse is very useful, how often will you be on and will Nancy make a visit with you as I really like what she does.

I love your CD`s Steph and have most of them but I will not be buying this one and any others from QVC because of the P & P they charge.
