We were recently very lucky, in the Presenter area, to be able to try the Nutribullet smoothie machine! As you may know I start most days with some sort of smoothie and, of late, a bowl of porridge, so I am well versed in various different recipes.
The Nutribullet it is a very compact and quiet machine that very quickly turns pretty much whatever you throw it into a delicious creamy smoothie. I love juicing but the problem with that is you end up removing most of the fibre, with the smoothie maker of course you get all the goodness of the vegetables and fruit and the benefit of their fibre too.
Some mornings I go green with spinach, cucumber, apple, ginger, grapes, and some spirulina powder and other mornings I’m more fruity with; banana, almonds, strawberries and pear. They all work well with Nutribullet and if you really want to step your health regime up a level then put in some mango-flavoured Zooki fish oil.
This stuff tastes so good that it’s like a smoothie on its own and you certainly don’t taste any fishy oil. I’ve bunged it in the smoothie at home and the kids never even noticed. We we all know how good fish oil is for our heart, brain, eyes and just about everything else.
We’ll be smoothieing like there was no tomorrow on Friday, 2 February with our Today’s Special Value Nutribullet if you fancy joining us.
