September’s beauty pick from AD Skin Synergy

September’s Product of the Month is a limited edition AD Skin Synergy Geranium Rose Nourishing Night Treatment Oil.  Following on from the love and success of the AD Original Oil blend they have made a special new blend of essential oils launching with us this month. You can still use it in the same way and it still comes in the fantastically economical sealed pump bottle. These are my top ten tips for application:

AD paint

  1.  Use nightly all over the face, neck and hands as a beautiful, inspirational and enjoyable night time skin treatment
  2. Mix and layer with your other products if you wish, by applying the oil underneath your favourite moisturisers
  3. Apply several pumps to the face and neck whilst taking a shower or soaking in the bath, especially if you suffer from dryness or high colour to help protect the skin from the steam
  4. Apply to the high points of the face during the day through bad weather conditions if your skin has been ravaged by the wind and the rain
  5. If you work in a very drying atmosphere or are having a long day outside in bad weather such as a winter walk, apply in the morning underneath your day cream to make your skin feel supple and to be able to survive any weather conditions
  6. Keep next to the TV or with you at all times and massage into cuticles as it has natural vitamin E which is great, especially with the winter approaching
  7. Give yourself a salon treatment. Use an exfoliator and take several pumps of this oil and massage for several minutes all over the face. If it sinks in, apply more and then put your favourite moisturising mask on top and leave to sink in for as long as you can or go to sleep with these on
  8. For a deep clean on a combination/oily skin, exfoliate and then massage the oil all over the skin. Follow with facial steaming or a cleansing or exfoliation brush. The AD Skin Synergy Oil should have softened any blackheads so you should be able to express easily. Cover the ends of your fingers with tissue so you don’t damage or bruise the skin.  Then whip up a foaming cleanser with a brush and massage all over the face to remove
  9. With beards, stubble and ‘face furniture’ so much in fashion, the bain of many men’s lives is the prickle or itch caused by the beard when it gets more than a few millimetres long becoming spikey and sometimes the breakouts and rashing caused by twisted hair follicles or hairs curling back and catching the skin. Use the AD Skin Synergy oil, just a drop massaged in the hands and smoothed over the whole beard area twice daily to keep the hair feeling soft and smooth and preventing these problems. If the beard really dries out, apply several pumps, massage over the beard area, especially if it is longer, before you get in the shower and then remove with either your shampoo or face wash to have a more intense treatment
  10. During the winter months, and on dry skin, when you have finished doing your hair and make-up and everything looks a little bit frazzled and dry, take just one drop, warm between your palms and smooth into any dry, brittle hair areas and press onto any cheek or complexion areas that look dry, over the makeup, to give a more glossy and supple finish

If you’re in need of an all-round beauty multi-tasker, look no further than this wonderful oil. Browse the AD range to discover the products which inspired this special edition product
