I’m sure we all love a bargain, and with our Mid Season Sale taking place on Thursday and Friday this week, there’ll be plenty of fabulous opportunities for us all. Fashion will feature in a big way, with a Today’s Special Value offer from our Fashion Department on each of the days. There is a pair of slim leg, pull-on trousers from Isaac Mizrahi Live on Thursday available in Regular and Petite sizes, while H by Halston will bring us a set of two scoop neck, short sleeved tops on Friday.
The tops are in a gorgeous fluid modal fabric which is washable and come in four colour options – Black and Red, Green and Heathered Blue, White and Coral and also Lilac and Turquoise. The tops have a curved hem to complement the scoop neck and side vents to give room over the hips. I have several similar tops from this brand already and wore them all summer last year – the fabric is so soft against the skin and the cut is very flattering.
They’re great for layering, brilliant for a casual outfit with jeans or cropped trousers but can also be smartened up a bit with heels and a skirt or tailored trousers. You can catch them at midnight on Friday with Debbie Flint, then I’ll bring them to you again at 9am and 11am. Don’t leave it too late, though – at under £30 I think they’ll be popular!
Likewise on Thursday with the Isaac Mizrahi trousers – in plain neutral colours and with a flattering slimline silhouette and at under £24 I think many people will buy in more than one colour. They come in Black, Navy, Green, Mocha and Grey/Stone and in two lengths – 27.5″ and 30.5″.
I’m planning on buying the Grey/tone in Petite, to give me an ankle skimming look perfect for spring, to wear with summer brights or pastels and trainers, flat sandals or wedges on my feet. The washable fabric is 96% cotton for comfort and breathability and 4% elastane to hold in any wobbly bits!
There is plenty more in store for you over the two day sale, with reduced prices from brands like MarlaWynne, Mr Max and Denim and Co. There will be other departments featured too, such as Jewellery, Homeware, DIY and Gardening, so check out the line-up on our programme guide and plan your sale shopping!
I’ll see you there, hopefully, at 11am and 1pm on Thursday (a rare lie-in for me!) and 9am, 10am and 11am on Friday.
In my next blog I’ll be posting some more photos from my Namibian adventure so look out for that next week.
Until then, take care
Love, Kathy x
