Raise your hair game!

For our Beauty Month promotions I thought I’d address hair because I’m not a fan of mine.

I’ve expressed this before in my blog but it’s far from my crowning glory. It doesn’t bother me in terms of knocking my confidence, because life’s too short right? And after all beauty is skin deep, but for those like Claire Sutton who got blessed by the hair fairy, they don’t know how lucky the are.

So my hair is fine, thin, lifeless, limp, won’t hold style, porous, dry and breaks easily. If there was a list of undesirable features for hair, mine would cross every box sadly, so product choice for my hair becomes paramount. It means I have to be savvy and also means I don’t have the time or attitude for failing to meet promise.

I’m a tough judge when it comes to purchasing hair products, super critical and sceptical. So if you struggle with your hair too, you might want to try the following that I’ve tested and rate…

1) The Dyson Supersonic

I just can’t say enough good things about this. Whether it’s speed, shine, volume or beautiful bouncy curls, Dyson’s Supersonic does it all. Drying hair at much lower temperatures to improve the hair condition, it’s definitely one of the best products to hit the beauty market ever. We offer a 30 day trial with it. Be as sceptical as you like, the reviews and the results speak for themselves. Expensive? Yeah, but worth every penny.

2) Tweak’d Volumising Shampoo and Conditioner

The guy that brought us Ojon has done it again. He travels the globe looking for wild-crafted and organic ingredients that our hair loves. A popular range, take a look, sample the products and begin your Tweak’d journey. This duo is a good place to start.

3) Philip Kingsley Elasticizer

Yeah you know it! One of the world’s most iconic brands and their number one best selling treatment. It’s a pre-shampoo treatment you can sleep in. If breakage, dry, dull and brittle, over coloured or over processed hair is your problem – this is our answer. If your hair is awesome then keep it that way with this. It’s an award winning, iconic hair treatment that is adored and will feed and nourish your hair back to health.

4) Colour Wow Pre-Shampoo Mineral Remover

I used this for the first time the other day and boom, it’s straight into the must have list! It’s an extremely gentle pre-treatment spritz. Leave it on for two to three minutes before washing your hair and you’ll see and feel the difference straight away.

Rave reviews coming in already for this new launch from the colour experts at Color Wow. It removes build up and minerals that sit on the hair from other products and even tap water. This will quickly become your new favourite hair product after just one try, leaving hair lighter, brighter and shinier from the first go. I was very pleasantly surprised, you will be too.

5) Living Proof PhD Dry Shampoo

This dry shampoo from Living Proof is clinically proven to cleanse the hair without build up or residue even on dark hair. It’s lightweight and the fragrance is clean and fresh. Superb if you need a quick freshen up or day two or three after washing.

All Beauty products until the end of June are just £1.95 P&P and certain promotions are £0.00 P&P, so check out the website for these and more. Have piece of mind to try what you like too with our 30 day trial period, if you don’t love what you find, send it back for your money back!

Best,

Chloe

    Hi Chloe,
I know you’ve said you don’t like your hair but honestly I think you are so pretty and I love your hair. I totally agree though, I think the world of beauty has actually gone so far in that it now puts so much pressure on people of all ages that it’s unrealistic and can really damage peoples confidence. Keep on promoting beauty is skin deep! You’re a great advocate and model x

Gotta tell you, Chloe, you pick your products well. No one watching you would ever guess you have such difficult hair. It always looks surfer babe! Everyone has something they don’t like about themselves, but you and your hair hide your enmity very well! Hope you went for the six foot bed, btw…
