I spent my 21st birthday by having a joint party with a friend who was a few weeks older than me. We invited family and friends and my mum organised all the catering, It was a great fun event and we all had a lovely time.

I spent my 21st birthday working as a secretary in Manchester. As I was due to get married 4 months later there wasn’t a party. I remember getting gifts of new bedding, towels etc. but my friends clubbed together and bought me a beautiful peach satin dressing gown, I was thrilled to bits. One hilarious thing happened as a walked to the office that morning — a pigeon decided to do it’s toilet – which landed at the top of my bare arm – a funny way for it to wish me happy 21st.

I have the Diamonique gala necklace that Julia is wearing in this video. I bought it a long time ago, I still wear it and love it. When on a Caribbean cruise, an American lady asked me if it was a Harry Winston piece. It certainly makes me feel a million dollars. I got married five days after my 21st Birthday so was busy with last minute arrangements and moving into our first home. QVC is the best shopping channel. Congratulations on your 21st xx

My 21st birthday was a miserable affair. My mum had no money and therefore could not but me anything. But she did try to make me feel happy by making me a cake, it was the best cake ever! I am now 64 years young, and still appreciate her efforts!….she had it tough!
I have been with you since day one!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY QVC and may you long continue! Xx
