QVC Extra is going live!

Hello everyone,

I wanted to write a quick second blog this week to tell you about something very exciting. Next Monday (23rd March), myself, our gardening expert Richard Jackson and our social media presenter Will Gowing will be making history as we present the first ever live show on the QVC Extra channel!

QVC Extra normally shows the “best bits” from our main live channel. But for the first time ever, we will be presenting a gardening show on the live channel at 1pm and then hopping straight over to Extra at 2pm for another, very different gardening hour.

It’ll be much more chatty, with Richard answering lots of your gardening questions. He will also be showing us how to plant a herb garden. Plus we will be talking about Garden Re-Leaf, a special day founded in 2012 by Richard and Boyd Douglas-Davies to support Greenfingers, a small national charity dedicated to supporting the children who spend time in hospices around the UK by creating inspiring gardens for them to relax in and enjoy. To date Greenfingers has created 44 inspiring gardens in children’s hospices around the country, and has a further waiting list of hospices that need help.

We will also have some great plants to show you, which will only be available on QVC Extra, including some gorgeous agapanthus (my favourite flowers!), some acidanthera bulbs and some climbing fuchsias. And a donation will be made to the charity for every plant sold.

It’s going to be a fantastic show so please join us on QVC Extra at 2pm, Monday 23rd March. You can find the channel on Sky 673, Freesat 57 or online on the website.

Love Jackie x
