QCam: Sol3 Mio are coming to QVC

It’s Will Gowing here, I hope you’re all well!

On Saturday 13th December Sol3 Mio will be joining us in the studio for the Saturday Morning Gift Show at 9am!

Brothers Pene and Amitai Pati and cousin Moses Mackay, make up three very powerful and moving operatic voices – they’re trained classical singers, but give a contemporary twist to their performances. They’re very funny too!

I popped along to the Royal Albert Hall in London recently to see the guys performing and to have a quick chat in their dressing room – watch my QCam video below…

I am currently watching an australian series, A Place to call Home, and this song is sung by a native Italian, to his forbidden love. It is so poignant and sanguine. One of my favourite operatic pieces. The video is brilliant; one guy giving another guy the flower breaking what is, traditionally, the accepted. Good on them. Incredibly emotionally performed. Are the guys maori?

Saw these guys recently, they were supporting Alfie Boe. Beautiful voices and they seem to have a lot of fun while onstage.
