Puppy training and a new Destination Gems prize

Misty on Face TimeHello!

Where is this month going? More to the point, where is the year going?! June is only around the corner.

I hope you're well, it's been another busy week at home and QVC. I've some fabulous shows coming up and I'll tell you more in a moment about our latest competition as well.

This picture is of Misty, one of our two Cairn Terrier puppies. I was video calling home (Face Time) and my daughter headed off to the kitchen for a moment. Misty seized the opportunity to leap on the table to see if there were any scraps of food! I was calling her to get down, she was a little puzzled wondering where my voice was coming from! Anyway, she didn't listen, so climbed on the table and I managed to grab this screen shot. As you can see by the look on my face…. I'm a little concerned!

To be fair, the training is going really well (most of the time!) with both puppies. I hope you like the video clip of Bramble. The two pups are cheeky, mischievous and so loving and we love them right back. We've had them six or so months now and can't imagine our family without them!

Not wishing to tempt fate… They're completely house trained too! Furniture chewing has settled as well!

Yankee guest Rosa

At work it has been non stop both on and off air. It was great to see my Buddy (Dale) pop up on ITV's This Morning. I'm sure he'll tell you all about it in his blog. It was very, very entertaining!

I like to show you behind the scenes when I can. Here's Rosa, one of our Yankee guests settling in minutes before the show. Which reminds me…watch out for a very special offer coming up soon with Yankee.

Speaking of shows. I'm on air this Monday 20th May at 10pm with Liz Earle and then 11pm with Charlie Bears!

Destination Gems prize

Destination Gems is back on air on Tuesday 21st at 8pm. We have a brand new competition prize. This stunning loose stone, Rose de France Amethyst. Ok, better dash, I need to start planning more puppy training exercises!

Take care,

    Hi Charlie,
Your two puppies look adorable. I like the photograph where one is stood with his legs on the table. When my daughter phones up sometimes I put the phone near our young Golden Retriever and she looks for Heidi and gets all excited and wonders where she is.
I am busy training our two Labrador puppies with my husband, we have one each, they are two brothers six and a half months old. Life would be so dull without animals, they are always up to something they are the youngest of our eleven dogs, the Goldie is sixteen months old.
Rosa from Yankee Candles always seems such a bubbly person, I like her. Loooking forward to Charlie Bear’s, they have such please take me home faces.
Keep up the good work with the puppies.
    Regards Jean.

Hello Jean and thanks for getting in touch… Wow… Is that right, 11 dogs! I’m so impressed. Now that’s a handful but I’m thinking lots and lots of fun too! I adore Labradors, Infact we simply adore animals in the Brook family!
    Good luck with the training!
    Kind regards

    HI Charlie,
Your pups are gorgeous – we have a 13 month old Wheaten Cairn and have been through the training etc but she (Ellie) has turned into a lovely natured, friendly dog now and she loves people and other dogs.
We haven’t come across any Cairns in our area and can’t understand it as they are so lovable.
    I’ll keep watching their videos.
    Regards, Susan
