Preview Thursday’s Diane Gilman offer

Diane GilmanFor even the most confident shoppers and self-styled fashionistas among us, few things strike fear into hearts more than having to find that perfect new pair of jeans. With countless washes, cuts, rises and shapes to choose from, the sheer number of options open to you can feel like a minefield.

Luckily, we’ve done a lot of the hard work for you and later this week we’ll be offering an enduring style classic as a Today’s Special Value offer, taking the headache out of your denim hunt and giving you the chance to save a few pounds in the process.

Diane Gilman‘s Superstretch Boot-cut jeans will also help you look like you’ve lost a few pounds too, because they incorporate a higher waist for a tummy-flattening effect, while the stretch in the fabric helps to smooth out any unwanted lumps or bumps. Immune to fads and trends, the boot-cut is a casual constant and, in Indigo – one of four colours we’ll be offering – a true wardrobe staple.

With a narrower thigh and a slightly flared hemline, they help to balance the hips – innately flattering, especially if you’re pear-shaped – and also hide heels if want to elongate your legs.

They’re also hugely versatile; team them with heels, a statement jacket and a crisp white blouse for a smart-casual look, a floaty blouse in chiffon or silk for a more relaxed party-appropriate outfit, or with a trench coat, boots and your favourite shades to channel a little Hollywood street style.

Tune in from midnight on Wednesday night if you want to be among the first to get your hands on a pair.

I love Diane’s jeans but would really love it in a 33 inch length. Is this possible in the boot cut jean?

Can QVC guarantee that these jeans will be the stated length?
A year ago I had to return some DG jeans as they were far longer than the stated length for the petite range. More recently I cancelled a Waitlist order for jeans in the shorter length because I read too many reviews saying the jeans were too long.

Hi, will these jeans be available in a longer length? Really like Diane’s jeans but they are too short for me 🙁

The jeans that are brought to QVC are usually available in short and regular. Why are those of us that have longer legs not considered?

REALLY hope that if a petite length is offered it is indeed petite this time. This has been an issue too many times in the past and nothing seems to be done about it !

I too have returned every pair I have bought in the petite range due to them not measuring the shorter length. I was very disappointed because the jeans fit lovely everywhere else. I don’t feel confident in ordering anymore from the petite range. Can this be checked in any way.

I have several pairs of DG jeans, however I agree with the previous comments about the length variations. I am a 12 petite and the last 2 pairs of DG I purchased have been much longer than stated in the measurements. Looking forward to the TSV and hope the length is true to size.

Have to echo previous comments. Please, please can we have a longer length – 32 or 33 inches would be great.

Bought DG jeans on Tsv and the stitching came undone around the waistband. QVC could not offer a replacement but did offer a refund. I liked the red jean they fitted well so I had them repaired at my expense. So actually they were not a TSV at all as the cost of repair was £10. Disappointed.

Another plea for longer leg lengths.

Hope sizing is uniform I have a good few pairs and do like them, but on one occasion bought two pairs, same size, but one pair were three inches bigger on the waist that the other pair. Luckily QVC sorted it out without cost to me but it is inconvenient. Also more colours would be good.

Another plea for longer length. Particularly as in the US, this range comes in three lengths.

I love dianes jeans but im not a fan of the bootcut. I would like to see more straight leg or skinny legged styles i am 5’3″ size 20/12. I have many pairs…

Agree totally with Maureen Kitching’s review….same has happened to me on 2 t.s.v offers. Longer length sent with shorter length label. Got to have reassurance that the correct length will be sent on this t.s.v or going to lose faith in brand.

Love Diannes jeans but most are too short. Please can we have more longer length (at least if they are too long I can shorten them) I am 32/33 length. Also more straight leg or skinny as I am not keen on boot cut.

I echo all the other requests for longer length jeans 32/33 inch length would be perfect…I have a pair of the regular length but even with flats they just feel too short…please Diane make the longer length.

Yes, I love Dianne’s jeans too… but I agree with some of the other reviewers they are too short! QVC offers plenty of petite sizing in its various ranges, how about some jeans for us taller ladies!

Another request for 33inch or over inside leg in a skinny cut – I’d like to try these jeans.

Another plea for longer length. Also for straight or skinny rather than boot cut

  20. Corinne November 5, 2014 at 6:50 pm -  Reply

Really love DG jeans especially the new soft fabric….just wish the petit size was petit! I got last TSV and had to return as measures 31″ on inside leg which at 5’3″ is too long! Please please bring some 28″ inside leg!

They are lovely jeans but why does it have to be skinny or bootcut. Why can’t they just be straight. Not too bothered by the length – it’s easy to turn them up .

Love the elasticised super stretch DG Jeans in XS! However, could Diane please make jeans in smaller sizes especially in the button and zip varieties? Her size 8 is more like a high street 12! I can’t be the only one who would like to buy a pair but is disappointed to find they are far too big!

Dear Diane, They look wonderful as usual.

PLEASE bring WHITE skinny jeans in the lower sizes again, the QVC stylists always use them but they are never in stock. They need to be around all year, as people go away to the sun most months of the year.

    Thank you in advance.
