Presenter’s behaving badly…Christmas party time!

Oh what a raucous time we had again this week at our annual presenter’s Christmas party! See below for the pic of group one, from Monday lunchtime, and see who you can spot! Plus a super SBC competition, ahead of the new Today’s Special Value on next week.

Festive Fun with Fellow Presenters

Well we always have a laugh that’s for sure and Monday was no exception. How many presenters can you spot in this pic from Monday’s event? (answer is at bottom of this blog). Ali K was playing around with her new Kipling Today’s Special Value. Not only was it a lovely meal and chance to get away and have some banter away from QVC but we also got to do secret santa! Anne Dawson’s basketball/hat was the most riotous – don’t you think? Watch below…

And afterwards I went to collect my sis whose birthday it was, and we went for a short shopping trip to Harrods where we had a delightful afternoon tea. Do you have a birthday just before Xmas? We always try to make it extra special for her as a result!

Do check out Anne’s blog  for some more super pics of the presenters’ lunch as well as Charlie’s blog where he caught me doing something in the shower!

Pre Xmas Hoss Ride Managed to fit in another little session with pal Fiona just before Xmas, but I’m still rubbish! Can’t even do a rising trot properly yet. I will persevere though! Still at least it gives my inner thighs a proper work out. Determined to do more of this in 2017.

Book of the Week – Katie Fforde’s A Christmas Feast collection of short festive stories is my choice this week – but click here for my Read it Write it Sell it full blog with info about more yuletide stories available now, plus the full cover from my Till the Fat Lady Slims updated book 2017 version coming out in the new year!

Facebook Funny – QVC is an answer in a board game! Check this out! Do you have this version of fast-talking, quick-thinking board game Articulate? Well this week I went to Lauren’s with Brad and their partners to have our Xmas get together and found this funny question! Guess who got it right! Lol.

Bourne Woods Walk Then went out for a long dog walk – this is such a nice pic isn’t it? Looks like a film set. Lol. Had a super time with my lovely family and apart from sleeping on the sofa and being licked and jumped on by loony Luna when she woke up, had a great time!

MDD Xmas Greeting Ahhh look at this! I duly wrote and sent all of my Medical Detection Dogs Christmas cards and here’s a little greeting I got back from them – sweet! Looking forward to doing much more with this amazing charity in the new year. And the Good Grief Trust when it’s launched fully too. I do like to give back, nowadays more than ever. Do you?

Watch – Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Well Eddie Redmayne has got himself a hit series of movies with this one, I’m sure! Took Lara and little Izzy to the cinema on Tuesday as part of their Christmas treat and really enjoyed the amazing special effects. Kids honestly don’t realise how good they’ve got it nowadays with all this life-like action in big screen movies, do they! Who remembers being scared of the Daleks, for instance – how menacing they seemed at the time, yet now it all looks so tame – it helped when I realised all you had to do was flee from them by going upstairs…Anyway, this film is worth a watch at the cinema IMO. A good 8 out of ten. Looking forward to seeing Johnny Depp as Griswold the baddie in the next one.

This week on QVC –

We are live until Christmas Eve at 2pm, when Craigy will be presenting the TSV from Dyson – a godsend in a house like mine in Devon – the hot and cool AM09 fan heater – one with a timer.

Christmas Day’s big deal is Charlie Bears’ Isabelle Lee 28” collectable Last Bear of Christmas Mohair bear – very limited stocks too so don’t miss it.

Then we go live again on Boxing Day at 9am. And watch out for the sale items available now online! Top tip – order them in ‘price low to high’ to see lots and lots for under a fiver!

Great Winter Sale 2016 logo

Next week’s deals include the Great Winter QVC Sale all day Boxing Day. The fab LAB pro lift anti ageing system on Tuesday, Vercella Vita on Wed and SBC on Thurs.

Super SBC competition ahead of the Today’s Special Value launch after Christmas. I’m back on 28th at 9pm with the superb pilates machine from Marjolein – and soon after launching the latest bumper bundle #TSV from SBC, which I’m giving away to one winner. To enter you need to: leave a comment below telling me what you love about the range. The competition closes at 3pm, 27th December. Prize is worth approx £45. QVC’s standard terms and conditions apply. Good luck!

Find out what’s so special about SBC’s TSV in Will#s QCam.

Have a lovely Christmas! And try to do at least one thing that makes you go out of your way to make someone else’s day – I will. Am having everyone down to mine on Boxing Day this year, after Xmas Eve at Lauren’s, and Xmas Day at my sis’s new place in Banstead woods – it’s going to be all different this year and I can’t wait! Stand by next week for my annual Review of the Year – it’s going to be a momentous one!

Much love and a very Merry Christmas!

Hi Debbie, hope you have a fab Christmas?
In the SBC range I particularly like the arnica and pepper warming cream. I have joint aches and pains and find this alleviates some of it without giving me an annoying, itchy reaction that some of the well known heat rubs do. It’s great, just the ticket.

I love the smell of SBC and also it does the job, whether its washing or reducing bruising.

I love so much in the SBC range but two things I cannot be without is the Arnica range because of back pain after a riding accident and propolis which I use on my hands to ease eczema in the winter months it is the only thing that gives me any relief. Also love the collagen range and oh…. get the picture!!!

    Merry Christmas

Love this range, because it is so effective, affordable and money is not wasted on fancy packaging. I am never without the Propolis, Arnica, Aloe Vera, and Camphor and menthol. All hard working little miracles.

Have a great Christmas and Happy New Year, hope all your new ventures are a great success in 2017

My favourite SBC product is the collagen gel. I use it as a serum under my moisturiser. It sinks in so quickly and is non sticky. Smells so clean and fresh. Fab dispensers too.

Hi Debbie, Happy Christmas! I’ve bought many of the SBC products from QVC over the years and recommended them to friends. Since being small my grandson has loved having a massage. He’s now 10 years old and a proper lad, but when he visits we get out the massage table and the SBC gels for his massage. I use the Arnica for his legs (he’s a footballer and often has bruises) – then maybe a lavender gel for upper body (relaxing towards the end of the day). For myself, it’s hard to choose a favourite – I like the collagen gel, the serum, the body creams….
Wishing all the QVC family a good 2017!

I love SBC because it is such good value for money and it is so effective, especially the arnica. In other shops, you get little tubes of arnica which are so pricey, whereas with SBC through QVC, we know we are getting high quality arnica , and the litre sizes mean you can be liberal with application, especially if you have ongoing aches and pains. If it means that you reach for one less pain killer then that can only be good for you. Did you know that recent research has linked taking regular paracetomol and other pain killers can lead to deafness?!
For me, arnica was a godsend during my recovery from a foot operation -I could apply it around the dressing and it would sink in straight away and I didn’t have to reach for the pain killers (which were very strong and did not suit my stomach) as often because of it. I’ve used it for other aches and pains as well, including the beginnings of migraine and even toothache! (applied on the outside of the jaw-just in case you’re wondering…).
The SBC gels sink in straight away, and their shower gels are lovely especially the collagen one.I’ve recommended SBC ,and especially Arnica to many people, as they can’t be beaten on quality and value for money , when buying through QVC. Just wish they did shampoos and conditioners as well and I would be sorted!

I am looking forward to Marjolaines visit and hoping for an offer I can go for as the aeropilates is going in there too! I use lavender gel as part of my bedtime routine. Jasmine and evening primrose to balance my mind when I get anxious. Collagen any time, any place, anywhere. And the rose one I use when I feel in need of comfort. It is like turkish delight and probably my favourite so far! Xx

Hi Debbie – I love SBC’s amazing textures and the great results they produce. Arnica is a staple in our bathroom, as is collagen – and I have lately discovered the body butters, which are wonderfully luxurious to use and exceptionally rehydrating for my very dry skin.
