Playing catch and a gorgeous Links of London offer

Well, let’s start this week’s blog by chatting about the weather shall we! It is after all a great British tradition to do just that!

It really does feel that spring is finally here and hopefully to stay! We’ve had a few days of soaring temperatures here in London although there was very heavy rain Saturday night and thunder too. How has it been where you are?

If you’re in need of SPF then do check out our extensive range from Ultrasun. It’s brilliant and we’ve been using it for years in the Brook family.

Our garden is starting to look really beautiful and I think our trees are just relieved they can finally blossom. The grass seems to be growing non-stop and we’re already up to a weekly cut.

Now that the warmer weather is finally here my two mischievous Cairns have had their spring/summer hair cut (fur cut!) They were in desperate need of it. So out came the scissors and off we went. They were thrilled to bits afterwards, although weren’t entirely patient all the way through. We think they look like the puppies from five years ago when we went to pick them up. Adorable 🙂

I’m especially glad the rain has backed off a little now as it means fewer paw prints on the kitchen floor. It also means we can all enjoy being outside playing a game of catch from time to time. If Bramble had her way we’d play this game for twelve hours a day, seven days a week. She loves her ball… actually she has dozens dotted around the garden and in the home and I have to be really careful to move them out of the way before mowing the grass!

Long may the sun shine and here’s hoping for a glorious summer.

Many more fabulous shows to look out for at QVC and I’m thrilled to soon be on air with one of my favourite jewellery brands. I remember being told a number of years ago Links of London was coming to QVC and I was delighted. We have a fabulous Today’s Special Value from Links which I’m launching this coming Monday 30th April at midnight as we head into Tuesday. They’re the Love Knot Stud Earrings. They’re beautiful and will make the perfect treat to yourself or gift to a loved one.

I do hope you can join me.

You can always catch me on Twitter, I’m @mecharliebrook and it would be great to hear from you.

In the meantime, while it’s dry, I think it’s time for another game of catch in the garden

Take care and see you soon.

    Hi Sue and thank you.

They do bring so much pleasure to our lives. If I get home at 2am – there they are in their beds lying down but wagging a tail!

    Hi Janet,

There is a technique in throwing the ball to Bramble! I need to be quite near her otherwise it can be a bit hard and fast to catch!

    I’m well trained!

    All the best

Hello, you recently said that The Team @ QVC noticed you were not getting enough correspondence from viewers/customers etc. So here is another post.

I have a request could you please arrange with The QVC Buyers to purchase and sell a really Beautiful/Funky and Cool range of jewellery by Tanya Bardot of “The Housewives of Cheshire” Fame. I am a viewer and a fan of the show.
