Be part of ‘Magical March’!

Hi there! How are you? Hope all is well, and thank you as ever for looking at my blog and posting your comments – I love reading them and replying here, as I just can’t keep up with all the messages on Facebook and Twitter!

So, it’s here, MARCH – surely the time where we start slowly turning the corner towards spring. I decided after last year’s success of ‘Mindful March‘, this year I am focusing on ‘Magical March‘ and again I want you to be part of it! I invite you every night before you go to sleep, to write down (or tap in your phone!) three magical things that happened to you that day. They don’t have to be major things, for example my three yesterday were:

1 – Waking up at 6am to daylight instead of darkness

2 – Having a wonderful, supportive chat with Marv over breakfast in the dressing room (I’ve included a pic of us hosting the morning show together; we always have such fun!)

3 – A special moment with my scheduler Nat at QVC, where she gave me some really good advice

All these moments were magical in their own little way. Post comments of some of your ‘Magical March‘ moments so far – three would be great!

In other news I had a lovely walk with one of my best friends in Hyde Park the other day. The cherry blossom in bloom is so stunning; I had to have a pic taken with it!

On a different note, I cannot recommend Josie Maran’s Argan Oil highly enough – I have had some kind of reaction on the skin around my eyes. Not sure what caused it, but for the moment I am just using Josie’s Argan Oil on the area (on the advice of Ali Young!) and it’s really helping the skin to heal – miraculous stuff!

This picture in the pub is a recent Ibiza reunion that took place in my local, it was so great to see the gang again we had so much fun. As a group we are all so different and just all get on so well – it’s wonderful.

I had a real giggle when driving through London the other day as who should pull up next to me but Ms. Kelly Hoppen (well one of her vans anyway). I smiled to myself thinking, “That must be the only taupe delivery van in London!”  I got told off by Yankee Candle fans for not having a Yankee Car Jar handing from the mirror, but I do like Mr Sunshine and I have the Yankee vent sticks, currently in black cherry. Yum!!

And finally, you can see me sporting the new Fitbit! Myself, Anne and Claire have been chosen to try this device out. Its a way of tracking your steps, measuring your heart rate and even monitoring your sleep.  It’s just like wearing a watch and is so comfortable. If this spring you are looking to start improving your health and wellbeing I reckon it is a brilliant helping hand. I will let you know how I get on with it in my next blog and on Twitter.

Until then, have a great week and remember to note the three magical things that have happened throughout the day and then post some of them on here to share with us all!

Much love, as always

Lovely blog Craig the blossom in Hyde park looks delightful it makes me want to get outside a do some gardening but I cant any longer as I’ve been left disabled due to illnesses your magical march idea is great I hope lots of people take note I’ve been doing this since the first of January writing down all the good things and bad no matter how small and the following day I add a little note to say how I dealt with my comments if any were bad it does really help for example yesterday evening I had an ultrasound on my bladder after surgery hasn’t worked and the Dr doing the scan said she’ll send the report to the urology department but to her it looks like I’ll need to learn how to self catheterize everytime I need to pee!!! This possibility filled me with dread last night but this morning I woke up and put down in my diary I can do it if I have to I’m still alive after being given a 5% chance of survival in December 2011 after being in a coma and having major surgery’s where I died four times in theatre so if I have to learn something else new so be it but to cheer myself up I ordered the bare minerals tsv last night as a treat to myself for staying positive that’s what I like about you Craig your always smiling

Hiya Craig – Well i agree with Emily above that the cherry blossom pic look’s lovely, you look so cute & cosy in your hat. I have a blossom tree in the garden & can’t wait to see it bloom,it’s been a long winter. The cold doesn’t help with my M.E/cfs.

Enjoyed the blog thank you,i’m intrigued by both the argan oil & the fitbit, i have to have Liz Earle eyebright in the fridge at all times lol, although it’s not a moisturiser as such.
I follow you on twitter by the way i’m _JayJ_ME

Hi Craig. My mum and I always enjoy watching you. Was interested to see you live in our local area. Are you settling in well? It’s a great place to live and hope you’re enjoying the local delicacies e.g. pie and mash! Will say hello if we ever see you around.

    All the best

Loved reading your blog, my three magical things were having dinner with my son, daughter-in-law and her mum before we went to the men arena manchester to see my grandaughter singing in the one voice choir which had 7200 children in it from various schools it was amazing, seeing the smile on my daughter-in-laws face because she made it down the steps (she has ms) and giving a lady i’d never met the money she was short to pay for goods as people were complaining in case she put things back. Look forward to reading your next blog take care

    Hi Craig!

I love reading your blog you always have such a positive outlook on life! My magical things today have been:

1 – waking up to blue skies
2 – Feeling blessed to have such wonderful friends
3 – (as a fellow Virgo you may like this one) clearing three quarters of my work to do list! I know in two days it will be double that, but right now it is looking good!

My mum bought the Everlast exerciser that was on the morning show and she is loving it…..well in a “it is tiring, but in a good I am doing something” way, she is 59 and says that she can already see an improvement! Plus it keeps the house clutter free which she likes….I think that may have been a dig at my cross trainer which was more frequently use as a clothes drier! 🙂

Hope you continue to have a truly magical march and look forward to your next post!
