Our TomTom competition winners are…

TomTom competitionIn honour of tomorrow's TomTom Today's Special Value offer, for the past week we've been asking you to answer the following question for a chance of winning £100 QVC credit;

Using TomTom's European Maps, which country would you like to drive to and why?

Thanks to all of you who took the time to enter. We've had hundreds of entries and it was very hard to pick just five.

So congratulations to Marilyn Jones, Tracey Belcher, Irene Ann Lambert, Julie Andrews and Kristy Brown, here are their fab answers…

"Before sat nav was invented in 1980, I fought my demons having spent 1976 to 1978 in hospital after a serious motorbike accident in which l lost my lower right leg. l strapped a pair of crutches to the side of a large British motorbike and rode pillion for 3,000 miles touring southern France. I would love to return only now on four wheels with a stylish TomTom on the dashboard!"

Marilyn Jones

"There are many I would love to see, but top of the list is Monaco for me
An avid fan of Formula one, I would love to drive the circuit just for fun
With a TSV 60 guiding me, I can pretend I am in the Grand Prix
Through the famous tunnel and hairpin too, just me and my TomTom crew
Now I am not looney behind the wheel but this would give me a massive thrill
I would feel like I was on cloud nine then I would leave the circuit far behind
Head for the Casino and roll some dice, a one-off gamble not a vice
Then out of town heading for France, with TomTom I wouldn't be leaving anything to chance"

Tracey Belcher

"I would love to Visit Austria. I would like to climb high in the mountains, explore little villages off the beaten track, which I could do with a Tom Tom Sat Nav. Stay at traditional Tyronean Inns and explore the fast flowing rivers.

I would like to enjoy the sweet little mountain strawberries whilst breathing air like wine. I would pause to picnic alongside a lake with meadow flowers scenting the air, to visit Innsbruck with its blend of old and new and fantastic shopping, and finally I would like to be in Vienna.

My Sat Nav could take me to see what is left of the Vienna Woods, the amazing and historic Schaunbraun Palace, the giant Ferris Wheel that featured in the film The Third Man. I would sit in a coffee house and enjoy a calorific pastry and then I would like to visit a concert hall and enjoy a wonderful selection of Strauss music by candlelight.

My Tom Tom sat nav. would allow me to do all of this easily and without confusion, and would allow me to make changes to my journey if something caught my eye, and to travel off the normal tourist roads deep into more typical and traditional parts of Austria. Ahhhh I can smell those flowers and taste those pastries already."

Irene Ann Lambert

"I love to go to Prague again, I went with boyfriend, now husband and we had a lovely time and we know a great little steak place."

Julie Andrews

"I would love to drive all the way down to Spain to enjoy a few lazy days on the beach with the kids – throw the tent in the back and the world is your oyster"

Kristy Brown

I would love to throw the maps away while driving round USA. As a passenger I miss so much whilst mapping our route, it would make life much easier and take in the sites
