One night only!

Royal Albert HallI was lucky enough to be invited to join some great friends at the Royal Albert Hall to see Michael Bolton. I am not a Michael Bolton fan if I am honest, but I can never resist a night at the Royal Albert Hall. One of my favourite venues in London to see a show. It's truly stunning and every time I go it never disappoints. Always takes my breath away.

Box 31We were in box 31 and had a few drinks and nibbles before the show that had been laid on by the Royal Albert Hall. I could sit for hours just looking out into the auditorium…

I am not really familiar with many of Michael Bolton's hits but I did recognise a few. He was in great shape and his voice was incredible.

Michael Bolton show

His backing singers sang a few solo numbers and a couple of duets with Michael. We were all up on our feet.

It was a great night, great company with great friends and we had so much fun that we were the last to leave – in fact we were asked to leave…!!

What was the last show that you saw?

Lots of love

    Hi Jill,
Great to hear that riously but not himself! Delighted to hear you had a great night.
The last concert we saw was The Hollies – they were doing a nationwide tour last Autumn. It was a great night and we love their music. Before that, we saw 10CC – loved it and we’re seeing them again in October. Shortly after 10CC, it’ll be Joan Armatrading. Can’t wait!
    Take care,
    Beth XXX.

My apologies Jill, my last reply is a bit muddled as I’ve deleted some of my words! I meant to say that from what I’ve seen and heard, Michael Bolton is a very modest man who takes his work seriously but not himself! Glad you had a great night.
Methinks I’d better head off to bed now 🙂 xxx

    Hi Jill
My last concert attendance was as a birthday present in April where we saw Kenny G the American saxophonist at the Symphony Hall in Birmingham. Kenny G has performed with Michael Bolton over the years but it was five years ago he last performed here. It is wonderful to have the opportunity to listen to live music and appreciate the skills of the musicians.
