Nutri Ninja special offer sneak peek!

Here at QVC HQ we know Monday is the most popular day of the week for making (and breaking) healthy eating pledges. It seems like the perfect time to forget the excesses of the weekend, and begin the day with good intentions to choose the healthy options … but then 11am comes around, and the biscuit cravings set in (at QVC Towers at least!).

This Monday 19th October you can help to end the unhealthy cycle with a little help from our Today’s Special Value – the Nutri Ninja Auto IQ Nutritional Blender! We caught up with guest Caroline Sandry in our backstage kitchen to find out what she loves about the blender, and to get the details on some of her most delicious recipes.

Smoothie Collage

Hi everyone, it’s Caroline here!

Most of us know that we should be eating at least five fruit and veg a day, but how many of us actually do? With the Nutri Ninja AUto IQ this goal actually becomes very easy! My favourite Green Goddess smoothie (pictures and recipe below) has five different fruit and veg, along with lots of other healthy goodies, so drinking this before, or as your breakfast means you are already way ahead of the game!

Lean Green Ninja

I rely on the Nutri Ninja to ensure that I get as many vitamins and minerals as possible to maintain my energy levels and help me cope with a demanding lifestyle – including training clients, writing articles and presenting on QVC, whilst being Mum to a very energetic two year old! I also recommend it to my clients. I’ve always maintained that you are what you eat, so give your body and brain the best that you can afford. (After all, we only get one body in this life!)

If you are a serial cereal eater (!) or you just grab a coffee and biscuit each morning, then you are missing a vital opportunity to stock up on goodness for the day. Many packaged breakfast cereals and bars are full of salt, sugars and other processed elements. With the Nutri Ninja you can see exactly what is going into your body!

Caroline with tray

For example, you can simply open the fridge; then throw in some leftover kale with some rapidly-going-out-of-date celery, an apple, some cucumber, a handful of frozen blueberries, and fresh mint from the garden. Blend with water (or coconut water for extra goodness if you fancy!) and there you have a delicious, energy-boosting, vitamin-packed drink to get you going for the day! Add avocado for creaminess and essential fats, banana for sweetness and texture, oats to fill you up for breakfast or literally anything else that you fancy!

If you are struggling with your diet, are bored with your food or know that you need to increase your daily nutrients, then please, do your body a favour and give it a try!

Caroline prepping

Read on for a sampling of Caroline’s favourite recipes. Simply chuck all of the ingredients into your Nutri Ninja Auto IQ for a perfect result every time!

Hi could I please have the recipe for the chocolate brownies you made – I think you were on air with Claire a few weeks ago when you mentioned them. But you didn’t give the recipe – thanks
