Not quite what the Dr ordered!

It’s been three whole weeks since I was last in QVC towers – I hope I’ve not missed anything?? As you know from my last couple of blogs, after Easter we went off to Ibiza for a week and I was rather excited for time together, lots of rest and sunshine. Well, we definitely had a great time together which was wonderful however the weather was atrocious! I had a text from our hosts the day before we flew out saying “you’re coming at the worst time ever, it’s raining mud” and with home basking in the bank holiday heat, you can imagine my disappointment!

Not to be perturbed (who needs sun for a suntan anyway?) …within 24 hours I was rocking a fabulous shade of tan thanks to Vita Liberata and had you looked under the thermal layers, you would have agreed!

I mean, I would have enjoyed being a bit warmer but we came out when the sun did although the only person that braved the pool was Myles, and that was for a bet! So we spent the rest of the time dodging showers, watching movies, playing games and going to places we might not have gone to had it been boiling hot – so all in all, it was still a fabulous holiday!

I came home and spent a week pottering, podcasting and doing bits and bobs before going away for a few days with some girlfriends (BTW, I LIVED in this Isaac Mizrahi jacket) then back for May Bank Holiday when I dragged my two across the Cotswold hills for a 3 hour fund raising walk – it’s amazing what conversations happen when you’re out on a walk that you can’t cut short!

Anyway, I just wanted to swing by and say hi – I’m back in Q this weekend and looking forward to catching up – although I know there are plenty of you I talk to every day on social media but you know what I mean!!

Keep a look out on my social media for updates, here are my TwitterInstagram and Facebook links.

Loads of love as always

Hi Pipa nice to see you back, sorry to hear your holiday was a bit of a wash out but you enjoyed yourselves non the less. I to was on holiday the week before Easter in Benidorm. The first 3 days were great, 4th day slightly overcast not a problem as I went out for long walks. The last 2 days the skies opened and the rain was coming down like stair rods, lol At night it was blowing a right old gale, I thought the balcony furniture was going to go for a Burton. There was nothing for it but to go and sit in the bar, you do meet some lovely people to chat to. My daughter texted to let me know how great the weather was back in Gloucestershire, nothing like rubbing salt into the wound. 🙂 Anyway nice to see you back on screen. x

    Hi pipa and Margaret!
I so sympathise for you both. Been there done that! The weather was so unpredictable at Easter in a lot of places and I think a lot of people had tricky disappointing holidays! Horrible when it’s your only holiday for the year especially. I hope you manage to get away again or enjoy some non work time in good weather at home at least! You look gorgeous all the same pipa! I love the last photo of you3. That hair!x

Thanks Margaret – I’m glad you had half good weather, stair rods, I love that phrase!! Yes your daughter was right, it was absolutely glorious here – its typical isn’t it? Let’s hope there’s lots more gorgeous weather on the way for us xx
