New times

1

A big hello to you and I also need to start by saying I’m sorry if my responses to your lovely messages have been slow. I slightly under estimated our move and time has been gobbled up. The good news is that we managed to get all our belongings in one place… maybe not in the right place but under one roof!

So much has happened in the last two weeks, from our anniversary, moving in, storms outside, Jewellery Weekend and coming up, some gorgeous beauty Today Special Value’s in March – more on Decléor later.

Let’s start with some fun stuff like food! Well I should put it around the right way – going out for dinner for our anniversary. Elliot and I celebrated another wonderful year together and decided as we have been so busy with the house and life that we’d treat ourselves to a special restaurant.

We chose The Boisdale in Mayfair, as we’ve been before and love the old Scottish lodge style combined with jazz music. Hang on – there seems to be a bit of a theme here with old hunting style lodges as we also went to one on my birthday. The place is so beautiful and feels traditional and the food is sensational.

We had spicy squid and French onion soup for starters, then (look away herbivores) Elliot ordered a steak the size of his head! I had salmon en croute with pearl barley. It really was delicious and so delicate.

There was also a pianist singing old jazz and modern covers which was great. We both agreed 2019 has a great feel to it already and exciting times lay ahead.

Talking of exciting times did any of you mange to tune in to Jewellery Weekend recently? I am so excited about a new brand that we have at QVC called Toolally. This is a British brand based in Yorkshire. The selection we have are bright, bold acrylic designs with either sterling silver or 22 carat gold fastenings.

I adore the Art Deco style and the bold colours make them front of the queue in fashion. Here is a link to the Art Deco style chandelier earrings I have already, but I will be buying many more pieces. I actually made a little shelf of vintage/retro inspired things I love to look at:

Elliot always teases me and says its “Eilidhs’s little shop”, I’ve always done this – maybe it comes from growing up with my mum’s clothes shops when I was younger.

That’s not all as this week we have a gorgeous Today’s Special Value on Sunday March 24th from Decléor. This four-piece Revive & Hydrate Skincare Collection:

The set includes 200ml Bi-Phase Aroma Cleanse, Supersize Hydra Floral Everfresh, Neroli Aromessence Hydrating Oil Serum and brand NEW Cica-Botanic Balm to help soothe and hydrate your skin, and all at a fantastic price – top tip – keep an eye out on Social Media as it might go on sale early!

If you, like me, love a saving then make sure to check out our current Big Deals list right here too.

I am going to leave you with one last little fashion photo from one of my new favourite ensembles. The jacket is the Ruth Langsford edge-to-edge blazer, T-shirt Luisa Conti Solid Love T-shirt, shoes the Peter Kaiser Dagmari court shoe and jeans my own. Please check my Instagram @eilidhnairntv for more ideas on fashion and style and feel free to contact me that way too.

I hope you have a great week and next time I’ll tell you all about my trip to Penzance.

Love Eilidh
