New beauty for February

We’re constantly bringing you fabulous new beauty products, and this month is no exception! I’m sure many of you will be updating your spring wardrobes, and of course you’ll want to make sure your make-up is on-trend and flawless too. Take a sneak peek at some of the my favourite new products making waves at QVC HQ this February.

Laura Geller Baked Brow Tones with applicator - 205111Laura Geller Baked Brow Tones with Applicator
For years, Laura Geller has been presenting her products for us with great applicators, and here’s a chance to pick up both. Her new Baked Brow Tones with Applicator is a two-toned brow palette which means you can customise your colour.

It comes with a double-ended brush – one angled and firm for shaping, lengthening and filling, and the other has a sort of spool shape to it. Push it through the brows before applying colour for shaping, and again after for blending.

Due to the different tones included, it allows you to both shape and fill in the brows, as well as extending their length. If you have grey hair, go for Blonde as it has cooler tones in it. If you have any warm or redder undertones in your skin or hair, then go for Taupe, as that has the warmest tones for this colouring.

For those of you craving a stronger finish, you can use it wet – especially if you’re trying to paint it on to the skin. Otherwise, start off dry if you’re a beginner. You may find it handy to use it wet for a sharper, more high-fashion look or for a fuller make-up look.

The Brazilian Collection by OPI
When you think of Brazil you think of vibrant colour, and OPI have launched a range of nail lacquers inspired by the Samba nation. We’ve made some of the lacquers from the collection available in two-piece combinations, perfect whether you wear earthy tones or brights.

OPI Brazil taupe nail polish - 205646Starting off with the taupes, representing the earthy tones – and listen up those who like OPI’s You Don’t Know Jacques shade (their most popular nude of all time) – OPI have extended their taupe colour palette for those who prefer a more modern finish.

The duo that I love the most is Beachwhich contains ‘Taupeless Beach’ and ‘Next Stop The Bikini Zone’. ‘Taupeless Beach’ is a full-coverage cream block-pale mushroom – the sort of shade you see on the walls in boutique hotels – while ‘Next Stop the Bikini Zone’ has got shimmering silver-lilac tones in it, which you could wear alone or over the top of other shades. These two are hugely versatile!

My second fave is Sunkissed, which contains ‘I Sao Paulo Over There’ – which is a deeper, chocolate mushroom – that comes with a very bridal dull-coverage cream/pale pink nude called ‘Don’t Bossa Nova Me Around’, which will look stunning if you want the pale and interesting look, or as you develop a tan. Anyone with darker skin tones will love this wider collection of nude shades that complement a wider skin tone.

If you want colour while staying in the taupe shades, ‘OPI Scores a Goal’ is like a chocolate mudslide, and comes paired with the ocean green of ‘AmazON…AmazOFF’ in the Fabulous pair. These are quite striking, while still being in the natural palette.

OPI Brazil Brights nail colours - 205647In the Brights, my fave pair is Brazilian. This has ‘Kiss Me I’m a Brazilian’ – a gorgeous, vibrant, almost-neon pink – and ‘Toucan Do It If You Try’, which is a creamy, almost-neon-but-not-quite, orange.

‘Live.Love.Carnaval’ and ‘Where Did Suzis Man Go’ come in the Carnaval pair, and are new and unusual shades of coral; instead of pinky tones, they have more orange in them.

Elsewhere in the Brazilian Collection, fashionistas are going crazy for ‘I Just Can’t Cope-acabana, a bright yellow lacquer, although pale or bluer skin tones might want to be careful with this colour – you may need to wait for a tan. But olive, deeper or Afro-Caribbean skin tones, this are what you’re craving!

And for anyone that is just classically stylish and always goes for red, ‘Red Hot Rio‘ is a new shade that gives you a splash of fashion while still being in the classic palette – perfect for a job interview.

Nails Inc.’s new Pink Ladies Collection
New this month from Nails Inc., the Pink Ladies Collection is a selection of four feminine shades. Pink and blush colours are a hot trend at the moment, and now – thanks to updates in formulations – you can get different textures and tones.

This collection takes you from the neon baby-doll pink of ‘Notting Hill Gate’, to the very demure and London-exclusive shades that have been made just for QVC – a champagne metallic called ‘Cleveland Street’, a pastel pink called ‘Kensington Square’, and ‘St. Catherine’s Dock’, which is a muted pink nude.

This collection would definitely be a great choice for brides-to-be, allowing you hot colour on the toes (or perfect for your honeymoon!), and letting you play around with nudes for the big day too – perhaps for bridesmaids and mother-of-the-brides if not for yourself.

Anyone who loves the old Nails Inc. antique range will love these shades. And for anyone – Miss Franks included – who loved ‘Porchester Square’, there are tones of these in these too – so it could be a chance to update some iconic nail colours that you’ve been purchasing for a long time with a new spring/summer twist.

hello Allison, I only use Perricone MD now. but its difficult to buy when you use several items at once, especially when they run out at the same time.
I wondered if it were possible to allow regular customers of the product who are not going to return the product bought. easy pay on all items. I would be dismayed if I am forced into buying a product I am not pleased with, because I can not afford my regular item.
Be so grateful of your consideration.
Thanks for all you do to help us women.
    Warmest regards
    Carrie Richards

Hi Ali-loving all the new products that are coming soon. I buy all my Skincare from QVC. You always are spot on with information & how to make the most of the products. I exfoliate twice weekly face & body. However, at Christmas I was gifted Evelyn & Crabtree Hand Recovery which exfoliates & moisturises in one step. Wow! Using my Decleor & Gatineau HC I’m getting much better results! How about a show dedicated to hands which is a must in this cruel harsh weather. Best regards, Jules24
