Nathan and Bobby

I really have some incredibly talented friends. From all walks of life: fellow TV and Radio presenters working in regional news and TV, as well as National broadcasters that you see on TV day in and day out. Singers, actresses, you name it, I’m blessed to know them. But right now I want to sing the praises of two incredible pals of mine who work in the world of film. Much is made of the actors on-screen but they wouldn’t be working without the people who put pen to paper and write the words that they say, they create the action, the story, the impact.

Nathan Brookes and Bobby Lee Darby are friends of my husband’s  – he’s known them for many many years and luckily for me, they’ve grown to become great mates of mine too: we’ve all shared many a cheeky beer together as Facebook will testify! Nathan and Bobby are exceptional screen-writers, writing and developing fantastic movies for WWE Studios in America. The studios wanted to take big-name WWE stars popularity beyond the fighting ring to an even wider audience, with the aim of making them movie stars. Nathan and Bobby do all of their writing from their homes in Dudley, in the West Midlands. They’ve been working hard developing and writing for over 10 years, and now it’s all really starting to bear fruit.  Last year they had a horror movie out called SEE NO EVIL 2

The trailer for their newest film – 12 ROUNDS 3: LOCKDOWN – has just been released and I wanted to share that with you. It’s an action-packed police drama with lots of gun-toting action – so this a firm warning if you’re faint of heart. Do please share the link around, and make a date in your diary for its release on the 11th September. Go, Nathan and Bobby!

    Hi Lovely Lady.
So good to catch up with you after all this time ( in our local supermarket of all places!) and to meet Austen, what a lovely man……..and PLEASE tell him I said so! Having just finished my shift at the Hospital, I was looking forward to a well earnt glass of vino in the garden with Hubbie (hence the indulgent basket!)
We missed you at the Beauty Bash in January BUT fingers crossed if we get tickets next year and you make the event too it would be lovely to see you again. When I told Angie I was behind you in the queue, she rightly said, What were the chances of that?!
Having just arrived home, I’ve popped The Q on TV to relax for five minutes and there you were again with Judith Williams…….twice in one week!
We love your shows Marv, you have such a warm friendly manner…….Keep up the good work!

Love & Best Wishes and a hug from Angie!

Hey Jan, super to see you too – I love having an Aldi within walking distance. I was great to catch up after so long. Yes I’ll tell Austen that – he’ll be all flattered too. We decided to go for a stroll after a heavy night out at a friend’s house-warming party. Stay in touch and don’t work too hard, will you? I really admire the work that you do – you are golden. Lots of love xxxxxxxxxx PS Send Angie my love too, won’t you?? xx
