Behind the scenes with Leighton Denny’s Emma

We were thrilled when we got the chance to catch up with new Leighton Denny Guest Emma Welsh behind the scenes before a photoshoot here at QVC UK. Not only did we get to meet Emma properly and see her amazing nail expertise, we also got a first look at some great new polishes.

Emma shows us how to mix and match with on-trend colours, plus how to provide a fashionable twist to your manicure.

I am so sorry but that girl should concentrate on the nails and stop name dropping….not impressed.

Total misnomer. This is not a “how to” , more like a “how many famous people I know” followed by a very quick application of nail polish without the ability to see exactly what she is doing! QVC we are not all celebrity obsessed – we look to you for beauty expertise and advise not a celebrity based c.v.

I agree with Ada. Such a shame how this brand is now being marketed on QVC -focusing on so called celebrities and not the quality of the products. First mention of Lady Gaga on TSV day I’m switching off and buying nothing! Ditto Daniel Craig.

I agree with all the other reviewers. It is all me, me, me and not about the TSV. This brand is not the same anymore – bring back Leighton & Nina.

When Leighton and Nina were presenters, a TSV would be preceded by a VT showing the polishes in close-up so we could see the colours in advance. And the glitter would be shown on its own and on the various coloured polishes. This isn’t a ‘how to’: we can’t see what she is doing. Please go back to the old VT system and bring back Nina’s hands! P.s QVC customers don’t need/want boasters. Leighton could have name-dropped big-style but didn’t. I will buy the TSV because I love Leighton’s products but I won’t be watching the presentations if this is anything to go by.

No, I wouldn’t want her to do my nails. She just seems to blob the polish on. I don’t know how she is representing him. If I buy this it will because of Leighton and his products not because of her.

Oh dear, I wonder how happy Leighton will be, the idea is to sell us the nail polish, not tell us about the “famous” people she has worked with. I am sorry but I think the brand needs to rethink who is going to represent them. Nina was a star in her own right, pity she isn’t presenting in the UK anymore.

What a bore,if she has a job why is she harping on about what’s probably on her cv?…we loved Leighton for his passion about the product s,she has none x

I agree with all of the above comments, Emma makes LD products look such poor quality it’s shocking to watch. It seems that she has no LD product knowledge either, QVC must take action quickly.
Leighton Denny didn’t get his MBE for someone to destroy his reputation in this way.

Unfortunately this show was disappointing on all levels. Emma was very poor at promoting the product she couldnt be bothered to talk about a product. the finger nail painted on the model left a bit to be disired (short nails )
