Hi Alison June is going to prove to be an expensive month!! Love all your beauty hints and tips. Have ordered the Ren 3 piece evercalm discovery kit as my skin has been quite red and sensitive lately, so after seeing your presentation i cant wait to try it. Fantastic price. Also i treated myself to the LG supersize balance and brighten as i finally managed to get it in light and its perfect.

Hi Ali, Hope you are well? I have ordered and looking forward to using the Laura Geller Kajal eyeliner trio & I would like to try the Finishing Touch Flawless Hair Instant Remover but just a bit unsure at the moment. As I have reviews seem to be 50% for it & 50% against it. But the good thing about QVC is that you can try it and return it if its not for you.

2 things – 1. I am suffering in the heat and I have all the factors on. I have scratched myself to bruising, it is so uncomfortable. I want to peel my skin off please help. – 2. I always use daily face 50 anti pig, however I have been wearing a thicker amount in this extreme weather. I am also still using skinsense neck product of month. I have to say I have found since I upped the amount of face 50 that I have a brand new neck. The neck product is excellent but very recently I have noticed that I have the neck of a teenager and I am 45. I have in the past been very embarrassed about my neck and have always covered it. Is there a chance that Abi could construct an even better neck product out of these 2 please?

I have been using the Ultrasun anti pigmentation face for some time now as I have patches of pigmentation from sun damage ( a childhood in West Africa). However, I am struggling to find a makeup product as coverage to a persistent plaque on my cheek ( I have tried various products from QVC). Any recommendations Alison? I am getting desperate!! X

HI Alison, I have menopausal dry skin and I use SBC, but within the last month I have redness on my cheeks and chin, the SBC wasn’t helping so I am now using pure portions but to no avail, what would you recommend? I am 59 years old with very pale skin.

    Thank you

Hi Carol, i am 51 and have been experiencing redness. I tried the Ren 3 piece evercalm discovery kit from QVC and have found it really calming and soothing. It really has helped with the redness and the textures are lovely to use.

Any chance of a blog on sulphate free shampoos and body products? I’ve just tried searching on the website and can’t see which ones are/aren’t as ingredients are no longer listed in the product descriptions.

Hello Alison, I’d love to know the name and colour of the nail polish you were wearing at the Gatineau TSV launch show. It’s gorgeous and really suited your colouring. Thank you Irene

Hello Alison, I wonder if you agree with me that older ladies who naturally don’t have the lovely smooth skin they once had, should not deep tan or deep fake tan. I look at deep tanned mature ladies and all I see is that they have darkened their wrinkles and uneven skin and in fact look older. We surely should highlight (lighten) our skin to blur those wrinkles and not darken them. A nice gentle light tan can be so attractive but there seems to be a notion with a lot of mature ladies that they must darken their skin as much as possible, whether sun or fake, to look younger.. I particularly notice when we have loose wrinkly neck skin that darkening this area really looks awful. Surely, we should lighten this part of our neck to camouflage the crinkly loose skin. There, I have got this off my chest! May I say Alison that I greatly admire your efforts to encourage ladies to protect their skin from the sun as I have done for over 40 years wearing sun protection every day all year round and hats when its sunny and like you my skin looks a lot younger than my 70 plus years. In fact, people are genuinely really surprised when they find out how old I am, and I put this down mainly to protecting from the sun and using make-up to lighten areas of wrinkle. (Also, of course eating well and exercising). Keep up the good advice, Alison, we really appreciate it and I wish you every happiness. Grace
