Time for another blog from me and this time, I wanted to focus on a new-to-QVC brand that I love!
Before that, let me update you on what I’ve been up to in the past couple of weeks. I had my Hen Do a couple of weekends ago and it was such fun. I had no idea what was going to happen but we ended up having a really tasty, prosecco-fuelled afternoon tea in a private room of a posh old hotel and then basically had a big sleep-over style party in one of our rooms with games and drinks and nibbles. It was so much fun and has made me really excited for the party part of the wedding! It did take me half a week to get over it, but well worth it, I can tell you. Here are a few photos before it got TOO silly.
We also went to find a hat for my mum last week. She isn’t much of a hat wearer, so we went with trepidation but we have found a really lovely feathery piece for her to wear and she’s just picked out some Peter Kaiser shoes to wear too. That means her outfit is completely done and I just need to sort out jewellery for me and then mine will be complete too. How exciting! Emails are flying off with final confirmations every day and lots of last little bits are being brought up and dealt with now. The wedding is three weeks away this coming Saturday so it is busy busy busy!
Also, talking about jewellery – how good was jewellery day on Sunday?! I was so happy to be able to borrow some of our pieces to try in the run-up and got so many compliments on them too. It was a very sad thing to give them back. Don’t forget that we now have some of our really special luxurious pieces of jewellery on SIX easy payments, so if you are looking to add something exquisite to your collection, now could be the time.
Anyway, I promised I was going to talk about one of our newer fashion brands and called Jolie Moi. I have been aware of them for a while now and, as a fan of vintage and retro-style clothing, I love what they do. So when I heard they were coming to QVC, I was really excited. I have actually just taken delivery of two dresses from them and snapped some quick pics for you.
I can’t wait to wear these dresses more as they are right up my street – lovely bright colours and patterns with a real vintage flair. I wore the green one on-air on Monday and I had so many compliments… I felt fab in it! If you love either real retro or vintage (think 70s) styles then have a look at the range we have from them on the web. We’ve got pieces you could dress up for occasionwear and everyday frocks to have fun in. They are super comfortable too, so you can really enjoy wearing them. I’m going to wear these two often.
Now, I have to mention something else I received too because they look great with both these dresses and will do with so, so many outfits. Just LOOK at these beauties from Moda in Pelle… aren’t they gorgeous?
I LOVE a block heel and the mirror detail on these just takes that to a whole new level. They bring classy and fun together perfectly and you’re going to want to wear them all the time – I am anyway! Moda in Pelle are so good at a fashion shoe and this is them just doing what they do best once again. If you haven’t tried the brand out yet, then have a look at what else we have from them online – they bring us some seriously lust-worthy footwear!
That’s it from me for now – there’ll be one more blog before the big day – I’m really on the countdown now! So excited! I hope you all have a wonderful week and please do get in touch on social media to say hi. I’ll be on the Style Channel on Saturday so I hope to see you there too.
