My crazy cats and Be Beautiful Beauty Weekend

I hope you're all well and smiling this September day. It seems we have been blessed with a little sunshine, at last. I'm watching butterflies outside flirting with danger as they taunt my cats who are enjoying the chase!

If you've not yet met my Pixie and Popsie here's a couple of recent photos. They are such sweet characters. This one of Pixiecat was taken after I found her slouched up against the wall outside my bedroom waiting for me to get up and serve breakfast.

They're so funny the way they get into strange positions like this. Popsiecat often lies on her back, legs akimbo!

Pixiecat2Here's little miss prim & proper Popsiecat in a rather more regal pose! I promise I didn't stage this! I looked up and just saw her sat there like a posh princess looking down on her minions, namely me. Aren't they funny little creatures?

I am biased but I think they're beautiful which leads me on to the subject of this weekend. I hear the weather may be a little cooler with some rain here and there so worth noting we are here to keep you company if you're staying indoors (if you're not then remember you can watch us on your tablet or phone via the app or web browser-cool, eh?).

Be Beautiful is the theme of our special weekend long event. We have lots of exciting new things to show you. Masses of great guests. Expert advice, guidance through live demonstrations, super prices and a whole host of variety including nail care, spa brands, haircare, premium celebrity favourites, cosmetics, the list is virtually endless!

I do love beauty on QVC. I have always loved the fact you have a 30 day period to try the products for yourself. It's enabled me to get a great established skincare routine, try new nail colours and buy things I may not have tried by using easy payments where available.

It may sound corny but QVCUK has been a great place to shop for beauty for 20 years now and I feel it's THE best place to help you look and feel beautiful. So look out for some pretty fantastic birthday treats as we celebrate our 20th year!

Whatever you're up to this weekend I hope you have a lovely one.

Much love from all at Chez Huntley including Le Chats du Maison!

Hi Catherine this is my first post on your blog.
There is too much focus on dogs. I like them a lot but prefer cats. They are beautiful, self cleaning, have attitude, are very intelligent and are hilarious!
Tne 1st picture looks like a British Shorthair. I have one called Nikita and she is a lilac colourpoint bsh. She is stunning. She knows a few tricks too! Such cuddly loving creatures.
You are one of my faves. You seem genuine and oaring. Love your sense of humour. Beautiful in and out. Your children are beautiful too (seen a pic in a previous blog – im not a stalker lol).
Take care and enjoy your beautifult cats.

    Hi Catherine,
Your Cat’s are gorgeous, beautiful marking’s and colour. I have two cats, both rescue cats, one black and white one had him since a kitten, and a one eyed ginger and white who is much older and turned up one day in the hay shed, been here every since.
I also have 11 dogs, and why should people not focus on them if they love them, I love all animal’s, you get far more love from them than a lot of people.
Yes there have been some great show’s on lately, love the beauty one’s and yes the 30 day back guarantee is great.
Anyway you take care and enjoy those gorgeous cat’s.
    Love Jean xx

    Hello Catherine,
Your cats, look exactly like my cats, (JASPER & PHOEBIE alias Jasbo & Phoebsie,) especially Popsiecat. Are they Burmillas like mine?
This is my first comment, however I do read the blogs, especially Alison’s and Julia’s, as I like to keep up with how they are.
Jasbo is squashed behind me on the chair as I write this!

    Hi Simon,
Bless you for giving so much of your time to animals. I adore them. I’d have a houseful if I could but as I live in rental property it’s not so favourably looked upon by landlords! Haha!
Hope all is well with you. Give those sweet creatures a cuddle from me!

    Hi Pam,
I find them irresistible! I’m always stopping in the street when I see cats and chatting to them like a mad cat lady. I live in a close and many of the neighbours have cats. I talk to them more than the neighbours!
Thanks for commenting on my blog, see you soon.

    Hi Tania,
Thanks so much for taking the time to comment on my blog. Your Nikita sounds beautiful! I hope one day we can have a function on the blog for people to attach their photos as I’d love to see what she’s like!
I must admit I a have such a soft spot for kitty cats but I also adore dogs. I just don’t think it would be fair for me to have a dog or dogs when I’m so busy. Maybe one day I’ll calm down a bit and have a houseful of pets but, for now, my lovely little self sufficient girls are more than enough for me.
Thanks also for your kind comments about my children and myself. You are sweet and I know you’re no stalker, haha! You made me smile.
Much love to you and your lovely Nikita,

    Hello Jean,
Thanks for your comments. Wow, your lot sound lovely! Can’t believe you have 11 dogs! Feeding times must be crazy! Your sweet cats sound adorable. I love the story of your one eyed sweetie who just decided to come live with you. In the local animal community you must be famous as a haven to go to live with, hee hee.
I don’t know how you do it with all your pets but I bet there are plenty of laughs, smiles and cuddles with them around. Well done to you for giving homes to so many. What a star!
Huge love to you and your furry lot!

    Hi Jill,
Thank you for writing in, really great to hear from you. Jasbo and Phoebsie sound adorable! I love their names. I’ll have to look up the breed as they’re different to mine. Mine are British Shorthair Silver Tabbies.
I wasn’t looking for a specific breed at all when I found them but, by chance, I saw an ad placed online with their photo and had to meet them. Their previous owners only had them a couple of weeks but their existing cat didn’t get on with them and was upsetting them so they felt it fairer to rehome them. I don’t think they were ‘socialised’ with humans much when small and along with the experience of being upset by that other cat it means they really aren’t too cuddly. It’s a shame as I could cuddle them all day long. They do like to be close to us, though and love a tummy rub. They are the sweetest little girls. This breed seems a very gentle breed of cat. Never had any scratching or biting from them. They’re placid couch potatoes!
It’s lovely of you to keep up with Ali and Julia’s progress. They’re both doing very well. I’m watching Ali right now on the morning repeats of Diamonique Day’s grand opening. She looks fabulous!
Keep well, sweet lady and feel free to keep in touch. I always take a long time to reply but I get there in the end 🙂
