Hello, hope you are well and had a great Christmas? Mine was really busy as I was working most of it but I did manage a two day visit to Bristol which was truly wonderful. I haven’t seen much of my nieces this year with the refurb of my flat going on so it was a real treat.
So, before we head into 2019 I wanted to reflect back on some of my highlights from 2018…
My sister and niece came for a weekend visit just into the New Year as my niece wanted to see the Harrods sale.
My dear friend Hemi’s birthday is on 2nd January so as you can imagine it’s often hard to muster up people to have a big celebration so we always do something special in February. This year we went to a Filipino restaurant in London. It was such a lovely night.
The infamous prank with Ant and Dec that we played on Amanda Holden at QVC. Here I am with the QVC team that worked with ITV on the prank.
If you haven’t seen the prank, you can watch it here:
A visit from my niece during her school Easter holidays. Here we are munching yummy sourdough pizza in Brixton market. It’s so great spending time with her now she is 15, we always have lots to chat about.
A shopping trip with QVC models Jane and Katherine who sometimes help me with choosing my on-air wardrobe. We couldn’t resist popping on sunnies and doing a changing room selfie!
A visit to Bristol to help my family with a car boot sale, here’s my niece Ruby and I making silly faces in the midday sunshine!
A week in Ibiza with friends, sun, fun and way too much sangria! Haha!
One of my best friends Jules also turned 50 and we celebrated with a bunch of friends on a canal boat on Regents Canal.
The start of my flat refurbishment and what has turned out to be quite a challenging and ‘steep learning curve’. Here it is on day three – the destruction before the creation!
It’s my birthday month! And I spent it with my family in Marbella, beautiful weather, gorgeous part of Spain and quality time with the people I love!
Having moved out of my flat back in August I was living temporarily with my partner in Crystal Palace and have to say it’s fast become an area of London I really like. Here is a snap of the park on a beautiful October day.
I went to another 50th, this time my friend John who hosted a ‘Golden Party’ – I went dressed as a fallen angel complete with gold wings, so much fun!
After a really busy month I spent a couple of days with my family in Bristol and this picture is with my two younger nieces on Christmas Day. It sums up the day which was truly wonderful. I feel so blessed to have these beautiful children in my life.
So, there we have it 2018 in pictures! What were your highlights?
Sending you an extra special big hug and may I be the first to wish you a happy, happy new year and a healthy 2019.
