I have great news for anyone who loves fashion! My regular Morning Style show is returning for a new series which starts on Wednesday 2nd March and will run until the end of May. We will have all your favourite features within the show, including themes such as dressing for your shape, creating a capsule wardrobe and dressing on a budget.
Each week we will be joined by one of our expert stylists who will help us find our way around our fashion department, putting together a variety of looks using clothes from across the extensive and diverse selection of collections and labels that we feature. We have a talented new behind-the-scenes stylist as well, as Charlotte has been promoted within QVC and has trained up Ashleigh to fill her designer shoes. I’ll let Ashleigh settle in for a few weeks and then I’ll introduce her to you with a little video on this blog, but I know she is excited about being part of Morning Style and will be putting together some fantastic and irresistible looks for us to enjoy.
Each show will make a feature one brand and will contain our first look at some pieces brought in especially for us to showcase on Morning Style.
The first show will highlight Absolutely Famous, which is relatively new at QVC so you may not have seen its classy selection of modern and contemporary knitwear. I’ve enjoyed their lovely warm chunky knits over winter but as you can see in the photos of me backstage modelling the new items, these are perfect for spring going into summer. Fine, lightweight knits in lovely colours – some with sleeves, some without – perfect for layering and finishing off an outfit – and all at prices as beautiful as the clothes themselves; nothing over £36!
On Wednesday, we’ll be teaming the Absolutely Famous cardigans with the Today’s Special Value offer from Antthony Designs, some pieces from Join Clothes and a Yong Kim jumpsuit, to give you some ideas on how to get ‘trans-seasonal dressing’ right – never easy with our changeable weather. QVC are celebrating the jumpsuit as a key piece for day-to-night transitional dressing, actually; find loads more here.
We’ll also be bringing you some cover-ups that are perfect for this time of year, from Centigrade outerwear and also one of our newer labels, Nick Verreos. I can’t wait to see a bomber jacket from Nick that is planned for the show – it’s so new there isn’t one in the QVC building yet, but it should be here for me to show you on Wednesday.
Of course, we’ll have bags, shoes and scarves to complete the looks we bring you, with prices starting at under £20.
Before I go, I must just let you know that the second show, on 9 March, will feature some new looks from Kim & Co when I’m joined by Kim Mendelson, one of our longest running and most popular designers. One of them is already available to buy and I am planning to order mine before the show because it’s so gorgeous I think it will fly out (in fact, I’m not sure I should be telling you now – there may be none left for the show!). Surely we all need a stunning summer maxi and this one, with its simple shape and floral print on a flattering navy background, is perfect for me!
I hope you’ll find something that is perfect for you if you can join me at 10am this Wednesday, or any Wednesday over the next three months. The show will be repeated on QVC Style as well, so I’m hoping you’ll find a moment to join us.
See you there!
