It’s been a busy and fun-filled few days since my last blog.
Dad came to stay and we had a great time. Ate plenty of good food (of course!) and laughed so much over some wonderful memories and some great TV too. We both love comedy and Michael McIntyre is a firm favourite.
We played cards a lot and my Dad has a cheeky habit of adjusting the rules during the game in his favour… more laughter! He was like it when I was a child and he hasn’t changed. Only a short while ago we were playing Scrabble and he came up with the most amazing word using both ‘Q’ and ‘Z’. We all questioned him but with absolute conviction he gave us the meaning and we went along with it… he confessed after the game! We have to keep a close eye!
We were hit pretty hard with snow over the weekend which has now melted. We did spend a bit of time making a snowman which I’m rather proud of… possibly one of the smallest snowmen ever!?
I think my dogs have since eaten the carrot slices 🙂
Hopefully the worst of the cold weather is behind us now? It feels like this winter has dragged on forever. Hopefully spring is here to stay. Fingers crossed. I hope the weather is starting to settle where you are. Keep an eye on the forecast.
Have you made any purchases from QVC recently? Well I’ve just placed an order on these Silentnight pillows. I think the value is fantastic and the technology behind them is brilliant. I was on air with them a few days ago and they are so comfortable. They’re on advanced order but there isn’t too long to wait.
Looking ahead on the schedule I’m really pleased to see I’m back on air with Liz Earle when we celebrate 22 years on air this Monday 26th March at 2pm, and then another hour with me at 6pm.
I love this range, from Cleanse & Polish to Skin Repair, but one of my absolute favourites is the shampoo and conditioner. This duo has so many five star reviews and I recommend it to so many friends and colleagues.
Really looking forward to the shows. I hope you can join me.
See you soon 🙂
