Hello and thanks for taking the time to read my blog. This week I am embracing the colour yellow, trying apple cider vinegar, and using Revitalash for the very first time!
Life at QVC can be very busy and I often find I dash from morning to night and sometimes skip meals. Not ideal I know! I have a good appetite so I spent a lots of time grazing… my favourite munchies are oatcakes, hummus and crackers, peanut butter and bananas and I love a marshmallow! In the last few weeks however I found I needed some more energy and also found my skin was getting flare-ups of red patches – I have a tendency to suffer from rosacea. So I thought more serious measures were needed. Cue apple cider vinegar and fruit!
A lot of my friends here at QVC use apple cider vinegar and have said what a difference it has made to them, I thought why not give it a go! So I’ve been trying it in small doses and can feel a difference even in a week. I notice my skin has a calmer appearance and less patchy. It doesn’t taste very nice so be warned. I have it in a glass with plenty of water. I also take vitamin C, iron and B12. Of course these work for me and if in any doubt I’d always check with a doctor or pharmacist before taking anything new.
I’ve also started munching on lots more fruit as my in between snacks.
My new healthier habit consists of lots of berries: blueberries, raspberries, strawberries and blackberries. I must admit I was inspired by Alli Young who kindly shared her snacks with me one day. She is a lovely woman. I also got through a handful of coconut pieces too! I find I have much more energy and can keep going for longer than munching quick fixes like toast or a biscuit or three. (Although I do like those too)
Now let’s talk fun fashion and bright colours. My new favourite colour is yellow! Look at this gorgeous dress from Ghost which I recently got from QVC. I love the brightness mixed with the pretty little flowers and the 1940s tea dress style. If you like this then also check out Phase Eight for pretty dresses. I also decided to match with yellow nails.
Let’s talk lashes. If you, like me, would love more luscious-looking lashes then Revitalash may be for you.
It’s really easy to use – simply sweep on the liquid with the very easy-to-use fine little brush applicator once a day to get healthier-looking lashes. They recommend once a day and give it few weeks to see results. These are my lashes one week after using Revitalash.
It also happens to be one of our Big Deals this week, check it out here.
Hope you have a wonderful bank holiday.
